Impatient?

Is anyone else out there as ridiculously impatient as I am?  I cannot let my microwave tick all the way down to zero before taking the food out, EVER!  To make it worse, I stand in front of it yelling, "Come on, come on!!!"  

I realize this may not be too thought provoking, lol, but I miss the conversation we all had in here...it's been gettin' kinda slow lately.

I will admit to bouts of road rage.. why of why to some drive fast then slow only to speed up again then slow.. gads I can almost loose my mind behind someone like that then you speed up to pass them and they play speed racer.. arrggg

I can't STAND playing Pinochle (Hmmm...look closely at that spelling Lesa, LOL!) and having my sister-in-law as my partner.  God help me if any of my loved ones sees this.  She talks to the point of total distraction for herself and does not go when it's her turn....OR throws down a card and then goes, Nope, I don't want th-at one, hang on...nope, not that one, can I pick this one up and throw down another one?  LOL...Oy....I don't have patience for things when I'm coming after them....lines are one of the worst for me....I HATE waiting!

I must agree with you Jacqui... I have mellowed in my age but still if you pick up the card pile while playing canasta or canassda lol peel me off the ceiling with me murmuring these words $#@#^%*&(&$#@#! throw down cards.. You see I do not play very often as stress is not good for you or those around you hehe

I tried that, and did it although, not enough, at least once a week for about an hour.  I didn't think I'd be able to at first, and neither did anyone else who knows me, lol, but it was great.  The first time I did it, I cried.  It was weird how that just came out like that, but it did.  I would like to get back into it as I've not done it in a long time.  

Aging as mellowed me out alot, as well as having a chronic illness.  Although I am still impatient, I'm not AS impatient as I used to be and not at all anymore in some areas.

What do you do when the person in front of you at the checkout begins to pay the cashier in pennies, neckles and dimes. How about the person at the return counter, or bank cashier, who asks question after question. Or the clerk who visits with a friend while you are standing impatently waiting to be served or the waitress who suddenly seems to go on vacation after taking your order and you can see your order sitting on the counter slowly getting cold. How about the driver who pulls over in your lane to let someone out and they sit there talking while traffic piles up behind them. I'm the kind who sits by the coffee pot waiting for it to boil and keeps looking in the oven to see if the roast is done even though I have just put it in. What I can't stand the most when I am in a hurry, is the person who suddenly remembers something and leaves the checkout line in the middle of the cashout to get it, and does a little extra shopping on my time.

Once my wife and I went thru a Mcdonalds, there was a sign thet read: "Please ask for condiments". Well we waited and waited for the order and when the lady who was ignoring us finially came to the window, I was ticked off and asked her for the "Condoms"...well that went over well with my wife who kept telling me to
Go!  Go! and this lady kept asking What? What? and I kept asking for the "Condoms"........I will never forget that night, I had no need for the condiments OR the condoms!!!

And yes I turn the microwave off early also!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of windows, I hate it when people do their monthly banking at the drive through. If you have more than a simple deposit or a check to cash, GO INSIDE, lmao

I am extremely impatient with people that come thru the drivethru....when you come thru there PLEASE dont hem and haw about what you want.  You are coming to this place for a reason!!!!  Get off your cell phone and talk to that little voice in the box that is so dam happy to be waiting on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh my did i just vent!!!!!!! LOL

I am so glad to see I am not the only one with Road rage, I scream at people in the fast lane going slow, why do the call it the fast lane? to go fast. makes sense to me. And if something needs done I want to do it now not wait..I hate the microwave, I can't wait either. Or when someone gets in front of you at the grocery and just pokes along or leaves their buggy in the way and you can't get past...checkouts kill me, I was so glad to see self serve too...

Jacqui- yes it has been wayyyy to slow over here lately!! I have alot of patience usually EXCEPT when driving!! People kills me. and I HATE when they drive SLOW in the FAST lane!!!

I used to be horribly impatient with driving, and I THINK I'm better now because of music...I don't want my journey to go too fast and have to get out and miss all my songs...my kids would probably argue that me yelling at the "a$$wipe" in front of me to get the he!! outta the way is not "better".  ;-)

I think that there should be an IQ test and a license issued for people using self scan, or they should have an idiot scanning lane, lol.

I get impatient driving too, if you are going to get in the fast lane to pass you should be at least going faster as the vehicle you want to pass. I hate getting behind someone that pulls into the fast lane doing 67 to pass someone who is doing 65.

I have solved the microwave problem, I always do something that will take most people more than a minute, cause everything cooks in a minute right, and see if I can get it done before the timer goes off.

I think that's what it comes down to...I am a mega multi-tasker too.  So I guess we're just not USED to waiting because we're normally doing too many other things to notice a lag.

LOLOL...OMG, YES...I am so impatient. I am one of the worst. I get mad at red lights. I get mad if someone is walking, driving or anything in front of me and therefore blocking my path. The only time I ever let the microwave get down to .01 is when I am cooking something else or busy and can't get to it. I am a multitasker and definitely one of the most impatient people I have ever seen. It actually annoys me at times.

LOL, I just ATE cold-in-the-middle food!  LOL...I am THE most impatient person in the world... I cannot even get through explaining how to do something to anyone without just going, "Oh just move, I'll do it myself!"

Oh ....and Yes  I stand in front of the microwave too. lol  I'm very used to eating food that is cold in the middle because I can't wait. lol lol
