National Ice Cream Day

I just saw on TV that today is National Ice Cream Day. What is your favorite?

mine is strawberry, but homemde I like plain ol vanilla

Year round strawberry ice cream. But in summer, I make an exception;

Baskin Robbin's Pink Bubble Gum Ice Cream!!!

I think they used regular milk and half and half...and it didn't have much flavor...thanks vic  =)

try one quart 1/2 and 1/2 to one can of eagle brand condensed milk

Someone needs to send me some decent homemade vanilla...NEVER had it before this summer and I wasn't impressed...hubby said it wasn't anything like what they used to make...we had to politely choke it down  =/...but I'd be willing to try someone else's if they wanna offer... I NEVER turn down food!!! Except deer meat....YUCKY!!!!!

How did I miss this post?? Ice cream is my other addiction. it has to be chocolate, no nuts. I like chocolate marshmallow and chocolate raspberry.

Ice cream day should be once a month not once a year.

Shoot..missed ice cream day too..I will make up for it today :-))  Close tie between good old chocolate, Oreo or chocolate chip cookie dough.

My computer blew up and I had to go get a new one, so I missed Ice cream day. :(    I will have to make up for it today. :)    One of my many favorites is Cherry Nut.   I had some chocolate coverd cherry ice cream last week.  It was good but almost too sweet.  I'm pretty much a plain old chocolate girl.

I didn't even know it was National Ice Cream day but I was craving some and went to Baskin Robbins. No wonder it was so crowded!

My flavorite? Baskin and Robbins Peanut Butter & Chocolate...hands down the best ice cream ever made.

I am happy to report I in fact had some ice cream, but it was not one of my fav's...it was just chocolate chip, as opposed to mint chocolate chip, but it was still good.

Vic, na, I think you'll be fine....if you're not, please let me know in advance of our next trip, eh?  I don't want you drvin' me nowhere with permanent brain freeze!  LOL

Homemade Vanilla is always good but my favorite is homemade Maraschino Cherry Ice Cream over Brownies!!!!!!!!!

Alright...we all have something to do today... Eat Ice cream.. my favorite is plain ole vanilla with chocolate syrup..and yes can eat 1/2 gallon like this. will maybe butter pecan too.   It's 9am here and now I want ice cream...lol I bet I gain a few pounds today...
