For those of you that have to endure winter, i am sure you can relate to this. It is middle of winter here right now and a winter to remember. We have about 3 feet of snow, more than i can remember ever having. Some of the banks from snowplows are 6-7 ft high and pulling out of your driveway can be a task when you can't see anything. I just slowly inch my way out until i stop all traffic and hope somebody see's me, lol. It takes 10 minutes to warm up my truck and by the time i scrape windows and brush snow, my nostrils are frozen together, my ears feel like they are gonna fall off cause they are so cold and i have significant shrinkage, (still not small though) lmfao. Driving in winter can be a task at hand and even though my truck is 4x4 it can still be a nightmare. Between dodging snow plows and fighting road rage cause an 80 year old women is driving 20 kms in a 60 zone and taking up 2 lanes can be frustrating. It's a great time of year here for tow truck and auto businesses because i pass cars in ditchs every single day, usually not serious accidents, just someone pushed off the road by that 80 year old blind women.
Now the fun part-my winter job. i don't work much in the winter with our business, snow removal when it snow's and roof's, part of my job i hate. Try getting up at 4am and go out into a blizzard. I get all bundled up with only a small hole left open for my mouth and out the door i go bitchy as hell. I just want to tell them to do their own fing driveways, ha. The other morning on my first driveway i hit a newpaper and it got stuck in the auger shutting the snowblower down. There i am in pitch black, on my stomach digging the newpaper out of auger, cut my finger and pissed off. Finally i got the newpaper out in pieces and set it nicely on their doorstep muttering to myself " hope you choke on your coffee this morning jerk, lmfao. ok now only about 60 more driveways to do. ugggg.
You have to be tough to live in this type of weather and thank God it only lasts a couple months cause i would be living in florida by now. It has been one of the coldest, snowiest winters i ever remember and my as s is whiter than ever. It seems like even a lot of states are getting hit this year also. I am as south canada as you can get, south of some of your states so i know ya'll must have to deal with this too. We only have another month of solid winter here so lets stay warm. WINTER *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
