Salt, Pepper, garlic, a little ground cumino and a big stock pot,  should be just about right for two small possum.  If not in the mood for soup, then wrap in black pepper bacon, grill until bacon is done, remove from grill, unwrap and eat bacon,  discard possum.  enjoy!

Tio........Yes, you are.........they are soooo cute!  To me they are very small, but I do think they are still following their mom, and I know there are more of them.  After two I figured they must be in a pretty accessible place, so I went out with a flashlight and found where they are hangin.  I decided to let the two of them loose and extra effort will have to be taken in keeping that "cat from hell" in after dark.  I am not going to be "OctpossumMom" anytime soon....lol.    Besides, also to protect the "Gato" in case they have any disease.  I saw a drop of blood on one of their ears so, too late for the cat from hell if they do have anything.  .........

I did name them Mary & Magi and set them free........what is wrong with that stupid cat?........oiy!

They're to young to be without the mother. The mother must be MIA because your cat wouldn't get close to those babies if the mom was anywhere around. Possums are nasty.
But how cute that your cat has decided to become an adoptive mom ! She may be saving any that are still alive.
Call some wild life place ?

OMG LMAO!!! Im alternately laughing and SHIVERING here!! man they are UGLY LOL Opossums just look so damn evil LOL  I cant believe you touched them!!! They actually look pretty big to me, i was thinking much smaller than that. Do some research and try to find out about how old they are. I do know that opossums are partial marsupials and these look way too big to still be carried around in their mother's pouch, nursing. I know also that once they graduate from being carried with mother that they generally follow her around for some time. Im not sure if those two are still at that age either. They may be fully on their own now but cant tell for sure. I would definitley get ahold of a wildlife rehab center. Just google "wildlife rehab" and your closest city's name and see what pops up, or look n the phone book and see whats around. Are they eating anything? I see you gave them some lettuce and carrots LOL. Btw your cat is crazy LOL Keep us posted, I simply must follow the oppossum drama now, lol

PS another thought just came to me..if they are still at the age where they should be following mother--- where is she?? They are very protective of their young and i cant imagine her letting a cat or human just pick them up an take them away without a fight! So maybe they are abandoned/orphaned?   Or maybe just on their own now...i think they usually have more than 2 babies, so there could be more wandering around.  Years ago, one of my ex'es dogs got a hold of a momma who was still carrying babies in her pouch, and omg there were a bunch of possoums on the ground HISSING (it freaked me out cuz i had no idea this had happened overnight, and i remember going out early in the mornging and hearing these weird hissing sounds coming from all over different parts of the yard (they were answering each other!) and it scared the **** out of me! it was still dark out,lol. anyhow there were like 7 of them!  so dont be surprised if you have more real soon !
