Questions and Concerns with new format

Please let us know your thoughts on the new format here.  We are trying to muddle our way thru this also.

ok...not a fan at all of the new format. i thought everyone was just whining...but it's horrible. haha. i don't think i'll be doing this.

the first few lines of each post is gone and thats what i read to know if i should bother with reading more.....and responses are a secret now. if these issues are already being addressed, then great...but i'm not using the PC version of this site till they fix it.

PLEASE don't do this to the mobile side. i won't use medhelp at all then.

My contrast is okay. I just don't care for the lay out.  Why the change.  The page was great the way it was.  Bring it back.

...and while everything is being "fixed"...sure would be nice if there was a mass deletion feature of notes and pm's, instead of having to do them one at a time.  being able to click on more than one note or pm at a time, to be deleted, would be great ! ! !

The fb pic that comes up is "Sudie's" picture. It's an avitar of a dog...it still "shares" instead of "likes". Strange...

The whole page is hard to look at for any length of time...I don't know if it's "too white" with not enough contrast or what...maybe if the light blue printing was dark it would make a difference...

It gives me a headache...but I know the solution to that!!  LOL

Okay..."it" doesn't just show a thumbs up on my fb home page....

It shows this original question by domino AND NARLA'S (Denise's) picture...a photograph of her!!!   I didn't "share" this at all!!  I simply hit the "like" button.  It was a big surprise...you know???  And not the way fb usually works....

"Liking"  MH is one thing...but I don't know about having an addiction question or HIV or herpes or sexual health or relationship/bratty kid/personal issue on the fb wall!!  Could be me...

I hit the "like" button for fb (why????) and when I looked at fb, there was this question and NARLA'S picture!!!!    OMG!!  I deleted it because...I don't put people's pictures up without permission but it was crazy...and then I thought: Hmmm....Has a joke been perpetrated on us? Denise and Domino are the same PERSON???

I don't think the stars are a focus right now, what with all the design stuff going on.  I think if we can keep it to the design stuff for now, that would be great.  :)

While the computer gurus are already hard at work...what's the feedback on the stars? I know they've been around awhile but...I've heard that some newer members may find them intimidating...I don't really know how many of the members care about them...I think the "top answerers is probably a good thing (if all the names are there!!) Maybe I'll post a poll. Is that alright with you?

Hi there -

Just got an update from Engineering and Development.  We have no timelines yet for these changes, as the work is just starting, but keep in mind some are very complicated.

Our highest priority changes are:

*  There will be a preview of each thread, with a couple of lines showing in the main thread listing.  (We have already shared this one.)

*  More responses will show in the thread list, so instead of showing the most recent 2, it will show more.

*  We will be increasing the number of threads per page in the thread list.

This is not likely the total list of changes, but this is what we know for sure now.
