im a little late on this but i use a protien treatment 1 every 2 weeks on my hair. Its called..ION Reconstructor Treatment. its a keratin protein rebuilder. Works wonders and not to expensive. $20 for the bottle but it lasts forever.
Just saw a friend whose hair is SUPER fabulous lately, and she said she made sure she ate the omega-3 oils, and she's also taking a vitamin-like product called Maxi-hair that I'm going to start taking!
Products only work on the outside. We need help on the inside too!
Best wishes to us all!
I agree with Magi that the biosilk stuff is great. I have long, thick, course and wavy hair. I refuse to cut it. I wad it into a clip everyday b/c it's hot....why do I keep it long? Not sure.
I have also read if you will put it in a loose braid when you sleep then then your hairs gently rub against each other creating their own oils. I used to do it when I had time and it did work out pretty good but then you have the waves the next day.... so you would have to be washing your hair the next morning.
Biosilk, Silk therapy. It's alittle costly but makes your hair shiniy too. All the Bisilk products are good.
Here's a cheap trick: Try Liquid Fabric Softner (Downy). Put it on wet hair. You'll smell really good all day too. THIS REALLY WORKS!!!
Home Lipo Kit...I've been working on that too. I call it a Hoover-rectomy.
A hot man to massage oil into it.......:-))
Nauty............
My wife says you should use a mud mask she uses on me (Revitalising mud Mask, any kind should do).
Savas has long, thick curly hair to between his shoulder blades...but it tends to be dry and unruly. :->
I really understand what your talking about too..LOL it takes forever to deal with my hair but I don't want to cut it off either..I really like that newer shampoo and condtioner..Infusium..it's about $7.50..it smells good too..
I have to answer this one, since this is what i have done for 20 yrs, and i think avalanch, and fladdict too..
Out of everything i have tried or sold...these seem to be the best for your type of hair
Rusk---shinning spray..
Framesi- options
these two are the best for frizz
Sexy hair concepts---soymilk shampoo and conditioner, are best to me.....I have very dry, frizzy hair and can't find anything to work as good as these 3 things...
If you need help finding them let me know, i can even mail them to you, at my cost...Let me know...
hugs

Sarah at some point especially because of my son I will do that .I am just not ready LOL
The salon I go to sells a leave in conditioner made by Biolage .It works so well, doesn't weight your hair down or make it sticky, and it smells so good.
you could get it cut and donate it to the locks of love. Many are doing that here and it goes to such a wonderful cause.
my hippee go free free cousin has hair to her butt and keeps it in a braid.
LOL It takes me a long time to do anything with my hair .I put it up in rollers this morning .
I took them out within an hour the curl was 3/4 way gone so then I curled it all with the big barrel curling iron .....Its a pain in the @ss
Holy buckets.......how long does it take to comb your hair??

I'm working on the home lipo kit! There has to be a way(:
didnt you read my shampoo thread? LOL
anyhow is your hair dry/split ends/damaged? if so try some of these
Pantene (the formula for this type of hair)
Aussie Moist (smells good too like coconuts). Aussie also has a good spray in - leave in conditioner
Tail and Mane
SUnsilk for frizzy hair
Loreal/Herbal Essense
Finesse works pretty good too
also I used to use VO5 Hot Oil treatments too...
I have found the trick to keeping hair in check, is to use different brands frequently. I usually buy 3 or 4 different ones and will alternate each day which one i use so my hair doesnt get too used to one kind and not work anymore.
HTH!
home lipo kit?? do tell where you get them!!!!
My hair is shoulder length and thick. I swear i lose more hair a day than some have on their head!!!!
I can sympathasize. mine is long, thick but baby fine. Not fun...
Once I get that and my at home lipo kit, I'll be good to go!
Have you tried a malibu treatment?? It is some sort of moisturizing pack they can put on. Most of the salons do it. Not sure about the cost.
