I live in the Hollywood Hills in LA and we just got AC ! Thank you God ! LOL House was built in 1970 and I am sure back then you didn't need AC . The climate is changing and I am convinced of that ..
Aren't you getting a massive forest fire happening in California right now? I'd swear I saw something in the news about that.
Here in NYC, we've had a wonderfully not to hot summer. Right now it's staying at about 80 degrees.
Omg.!! Are you kidding me!!! I can't take it anymore!!!!!!!! I am dying here, and I am not far from the coast......Costa Mesa!!.......Ino Carlsbad is cooking. The smoke is not really too bad.....i think?.....its hard to tell, but I have been coughing up loogies for the past few days so I suspect it is among us.......prolly not as far as Carlsbad, though.
If this heat doesn't let up soon........I am going to go on a rampage of nakedness down the 405 freeway............oiy!!!!!!
Do you know if there is a lot of smoke in Newport Beach area? I don't know were Carslband but I guess SC right?
In New Hampshire there's a very slight feeling of fall in the air...evenings are cooling into the high 40's and 50's...days in the mid 70's...I can't stand it..heading to Georgia as soon as I can "working on a dream"
One day though, it was so hot here, the corn in the fields popped, the horses thought it was snow and froze to death...yep..we had to boil the water coming out of the tap to cool it off.

OH YEAH it's hot- and the gross haze from the fires doesn't help one bit. I went for an ocean swim yesterday, though, and it helps to remind me of why it's so awesome to live here :)
lol i dont envy you one bit. I live in NW Ohio and hate it when its hot like that (which we do get a lot of heat and humidity in the summer) Only in the last week or so has it finally cooled down to 40's at night and 68- low 70's for highs...not complaining about that at all...but i do like the winter too. Love me a good snowstorm and wind howling =)
