What did YOU get for Christmas??

We did not celebrate Christmas around here this Year..Have no kids to come around and family is gone out of town or gone! gone!!!! I would like to see what you got if you are willing to share..It will feel like I was there with you opening these gifts..I did get a few gifts..My Mom got me these Red Boots that go to my knees..They are Swede Leather or whatever..Daaa..They have some black on the back..They go Great with my Knee length Red Jacket..I got some nice Cards from some family & friends and some from my MH family on here too. Annie sent me a funny card with a squirrel on it with wearing some underwear. lmao. Ang sent the most Beautiful card too! I got a few small gifts here & there. Other then that we still have each other and the dogs & cats..Have a warm fire and a roof over our head. Lots of food to eat, if I would only cook it..hahahaha I have reached out so much and got some wonderful Support..So I have calmed down and doing OK..That is a BIG gift to my Family..lol

My husband, Don E, called me special from China on Christmas.
    My other gift is the ability to spend these last months here at our "Finca" in Costa Rica including the peace quiet & solitude at Christmas.
     My " Mascotas " is another gift, the two bundles of love I frequently write about here on MedHelp.
     I'm thankful for meeting everyone here in the Medhelp community. One of my best gifts all year. The acceptance, friendship  & comradely  shown by such a great group is a wonderful gift to see & experience.  Thank you Maxy

No...it was on my way passing through Mojave. No excuses...bone head move...now Im gonna have to go to court in Feb because it was 25 mph above the posted speed limit....grrrr Im looking at paying at least $460. Another lesson hard learned....

What I got for Christmas....the financial means and enough reprieve from my physical issues to shop, wrap and personally deliver gifts to my loved ones.  Though it pretty much "did me in".....I am truly grateful~

Quiet Christmas! Daughter and her BF gave me a lovely Pendleton Robe..which is funny cause I got them and my son and his wife Pendleton blankets! :)  Also go DD a fancy NINJA food processor and son's family got a really nice spice package basket! Best present was going to a local movie theatre with DD and her BF to see the newest Dr. Who.

I wasn't expecting anything this year....my oldest daughter got me my fav color lipstick its a plum lipstain ummm a mascara from saphora and some blotting paper cause my nose always gets greasy and I always take hers lol
my oldest son said I'm your present mom um can you say cheapo lol

my youngest son said mom did you really want a present? o-0

and for my 14yr old well let's just say she had a blank stare on her face ha!

My son's ex fiance spent the holiday with us she gave me this beautiful betty boop figurine that spins around and plays music and a betty boop watch ( if you can't tell by now I love and collect betty boops I even have a tatt..lol)

And my hubby gave me a beautiful heart locket now where to find tiny tinny pictures to put in it.

So I am great full just to have been sober that was my gift to myself.

My MIL bought me an "emergency on a stick" kit for my car. It has a flashlight, blinking beam, seat belt cutter, glass breaker and compass all in one.

So let me get this straight...If I drive my car off a mountain and I am locked in by my seat belt and the windows won't open and the car is probably on fire, then I will know which direction I am pointing in when I take my last dying breathe?

I had to remind her that we did not move to the Alaskan wilderness, just to Tennessee.

The best gift I got this year was the gift of family, knowing that even though I cant be around my blood family and bff and her family, NA's doors were open 24/7 and so is MedHelp's
I have the gift of humility and humble(ness?)
The gift of knowing I made a few peoples day just a little better
The gift of a new amazing family who i LOVE so much!!!
