What are you doing for Valentine's Day

Question

OK, most of you that were here last year know I bought my wife a new vacuum cleaner for Valentine’s day.  I would like to know what you are doing for your sweetie this year.

Here is my plan. I am going to make her, not buy, a nice card that even has her name on it, not Linda’s. (Another story some of you may remember) I am going to start the day off with making her breakfast, I would make it breakfast in bed but she doesn’t like that, and a day of waiting on her hand and foot. To cap off the day a nice dinner that I will cook and get out the good table cloth, dishes and wine glasses and then if she wishes we can go to the movies or just watch TV.

I am also thinking of getting her a new washer and dryer. Her’s are having issues and not working well, the consumer magazine rates one set as being a good buy and they come in red. Although I went to the and they do not have the red ones so I would have to get white.

Oh, and the best Valentine ever - is that my mother came home from the hospital and is feeling so much better.  She's coughing like crazy but that's a good thing!  Another BIG WOOHOO!!!

My hubby has been helping me clean our house and get ready for my brother and his family on Monday!  WOOHOO!!!

But, before that he went out this morning and came home with a dozen red roses and a gift bag with a really sexy nightie!  Another WOOHOO!!!  I think that was for him though!  LOL!!!!

He was very sweet and told me that he loved me!  I truly have been blessed with this man.  He is a keeper and I have many single friends who ask if he can be cloned or if he has a brother!  LOL!!!!

Wow, VicUser and Starfish...you guys are awesome. We don't do Valentines day at my house. Right now I am on the computer and hubby is playing Call Of Duty....again. Yawn....maybe we should do Valentines Day after all. :)

My husband went out and got oysters on the boat, freshly harvested YUMMIE.  We ate them on the grill earlier.  
I have a prime rib in the oven and plan on making him some special things he enjoys to eat.
I purchased him a basket full of candy, his favorite.  I also got him a card a few weeks ago but can't find it LOL!

Get the job done?..........If someone does something nice for me to "get the job done" it ain't happening.  I would hit him over the head with the flowers, and shove the box of candy up his tail pipe.....of his truck, of course.......lmao!!!

don't think we'll do much.  we have a wedding to go to Friday night (yes, Friday the 13th) and reception to follow so we'll be out late...my wife has her eyes on a curio cabinet she's been wanting for a long time..think I'll get that for her...then prepare a romantic dinner.

I think we will go to dinner. I asked that he get me nothing since I am just gaining wait and miserable..LOL..I want nothing, not even flowers I told him. I do love flowers though...I love how they smell and look. They are my fav...so I will probably be getting that. I would think an engagement would be rolling around the corner, but he said he won't do it on valentines day when I am expecting it. So who knows.

we (women) love to feel pampered...it's our nature :)   how about a day at the spa?  a wonderful massage, facial, manicure/pedicure.  make her feel good about herself and you'll reap the rewards.

I really don't like the day...I think it is stupid...probably cuz my hubby isn't the romantic type.

seriously...I will just be enjoying the weekend with my 2 lil boys, they are my sweethearts. My oldest was supposed to be a Valentine's Day baby but he got stuck and didnt come out til the next day, lol...so his Birthday is Sunday the 15th. Im planning a small family party for him. Baking him a strawberry cake (his request this year for flavor). I'll be sure to post pics. In fact that reminds me, I should post my "parade of the world's most hideous cakes"   LOL.  Im famous for making the ugliest cakes EVER.  They TASTE GOOD always, but man my decorating skills.....haha..... I'll post up some pics of previous ugly cakes Ive made if you want a good laugh (and will add his B-day cake sunday after its made too)
