I met and spent time with Jacqui this weekend

This weekend was a first for me, I got to meet and spend time with a friend from this forum. Jacqui and her hubby came to visit my wife and me for the weekend. Jacqui is a just as wonderful and funny in person as she is on the forum and the two days they were here went way too fast!!

I think it is wonderful you all meet and made friends.. Life is so funny to meet on a Forum about Drug Abuse and get to know such great people is awesome Happy for both couples..

I was soooooooo trying to be funny!!! Oh man did it bomb...my sincere appologies..

I was following up on all the love between everyone....

In my first post (# 2 on this thread) said that I was soooo jealous that you all got together that I was green with envy...however...I loved the fact that you guys are close enough to commute..go on, go read it..anyhow...

Then the 'how nice and wonderful' (which is so true of both of you) consensus was going on and I thought it would be funny if a green with envy friend rolled her eyes and said 'whatever'...blah, blah, bladidy blah... you got together..didn't invite me..whatever..blah, blah...

See.now that I have to explain it...it aint so funny...HA! Now what?

All I can say is I am jealous too! You both are wonderful people and then to meet spouses too. Wow, what a great combo. Jacqui is as wonderful as you think. A very real and warm person.

HEY EVERYBODY!!!!

I'm back home now...got into Philly early in the afternoon and had to pick up the youngins before coming back home...

I could easily say the same nice things about VicUser that he said about me.  Vic is a kind, fun, wonderful man...We had a wonderful time and only wish it could have lasted longer....

The weekend started with my first commercial flight, which went well I'm happy to report..no gremlins from The Twillight Zone accosted the plane, the pilot did not yell out, "Oh s***!  We've been painted", and no barrel rolls occurred! lol....

Vic, his wife, and son were all great hosts and we all got along great..Among other things, we enjoyed his pool, hot tub, cool car and motorcycle ride, AND their great company...  My husband and I both enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to another visit....sooner rather than later : )

How nice you were able to meet someone from the forum and they were as nice in person as online!! I have a friend I would love to meet but she's so far away, maybe someday??

I think that is awesome....I know Jacqui is as cool as she is on here....you can just tell... so I guess our MedHelp "convention" will be at your house VicUser...how nice of you to offer to host it....we will all be coming soon! LMAO.... I am glad you guys had fun and glad Jacqui & her hubby had a great weekend away!
