I think I lucked out! My husband is quite the handyman....fixes everything. I just give him a little "somethin somethin" (sorry so crass) and I get anything fixed that I want! So I guess what Magi said is correct also...they do think with their "peckers" (LOL)
Glad your sink is fixed!
thanks eagle...i will NOW remember to always keep extra rolls on hand for times like this...lololol
ok...at 11:15 last night (4 hours after initial complaint)...husband was standing at "sink in question", brushing his teeth. no longer able to stand it...the following conversation took place.
me..."sooooooooooo, what was wrong with the sink?"
husband (with dumb look on his face)..."i dont know yet"
me..."it's been 4 hours since i told you. is there a date i can mark on the calendar when you WILL look at it?" by the way (and this is what got his attention)...your travel shave kit is under there and it is soaking wet" (and i walked away)
i gave him about 2-3 minutes and walked past the bathroom door...just to have a look. husband was "looking" under the sink...lolol
i'm glad to report that my sink is fixed :) MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys CRACK me up! I love it Eagle!!! That is perfect and also sounds like something my drunken father in law would do.
Magi & Mary are also right....men are delicate flowers and we must handle them carefully!
I have found you must be very, very direct with men. They don't get things like......I think we have a leak. I found .........Go fix the leak now !.......works much better. lol
Theeagle..............LOL LOL
Lizzie, I think Joanne is right. I have in the past, done some research on this subject with my husband. I found that if you tell him his weiner is really big and a marvelous specimen, he'll immediately go fix the leak.
As a long term male drug addled plumber i would say that you need to place more rolls of toilet paper under the sink. Sometimes these operations can be quite delicate so you may need more toilet paper to absorb the supply of water available........
