**Like Mother, like daughter. Like Father, like Son. Like Family?**

Okay, so I have been thinking lately about how much I  have been becoming so much like my Mother, and some family members.  First of all, I have a twin brother.  We don't really speak much, nor do we have much in common which I find odd, but I am seeing so many crazy similarities lately.  

I can't remember if it was Magi or Mary....surprise!..lol.  who made a comment that made my blood boil and she didn't even know it till now if she reads it.  I don't know if it was sarcastic of you to compare me to My "Sister From Hell" when I posted my so called Christmas Pic's.....you asked if we were twins and I was pi$$ed, not pi$$ed at you, but just mad......anyway, as I looked at the pic.......I saw it and it freaked me out....We really did look alike.

ANYWAY too the point of this thread, sorry.......Anyone find themselves in one of those moments where you say to yourself......OMG.......I sound like my mother, or Father, or any member.  You either enjoy or HATE those moments?

I knew I was in trouble the day I blurted out........"What do you think we live in....A BARN!"  oiy!  I cant' think of any others at the moment, but I think you know what I am getting at.  

Just wondering what moments others may have.  I love to hear others sayings and doings.....it always intrigues me......and it can be funny.

It's becoming more apparent everyday...I sound and act just like my grandmother did, I saw a pic of my sister on facebook and we look IDENTICAL, even though we haven't seen or spoken for 15 years. I'm seeing tinges of me in my daughter,even though we claim to be nothing alike...spouses become alike too. My mom and dad resemble donnie and marie with thier matching dentures!!LOL!

I really enjoy reading your posts! Girl,,, You are funny!!! And just when I could use a laugh. Yes, I find myself sounding like my mom all the time. I never thought it would happen. Like when the kids come over I ask how many grandchildren you all bringing? Cuz I can't handle it all like I used to. O.M. G. that is tii funny!

Wow, trouble.......did you steal my life's daddy issues.  My story is exactly the same as yours verbatim.......and I mean everything~creepy~~

Mary, yur RiGhT .......I have seen that too.  Exchanged Mannerisms from family members who haven't even met, so what does that mean.  Means parents can stop blaming themselves for their bad parenting, rather blame in in Cousin Joe......lol.

Just in the past year & an half.....I have morphed into my sister, gained this strange guttural laugh, but the female version.......sounding just like my dad.  It looks like my hairline is receding and I am getting these strange things like my moms hair is like.......Hate It !.........God help me!

ugh yes yes yes...i swear my family is a cloning machine! Im wayyyy too much like my dad was !!  he was an alcoholic and a very difficult man whom I did not get along with and he died when I was 18- but i now find so many similarities I share with him it's scary. I also find myself thinking "maybe I shouldnt have disliked him so much because he had fallen into addiction and was not himself when he was acting so mean" and stuff like that.  ANyhow, Im alot like him in bad and good ways. And Im just like my mom in the fact that Im a huge worry wart.   My brother and sister and I are all very much alike in goofiness. My nephews are clones of us pretty much, and now my two boys are so much like them as well. I was just titling some photos I took of them recently and there were some where they were making goofy faces on purpose and i was blown away-- most of those photos they looked like a different relative depending on the face they were making- and i mean JUST LIKE them! it was really weird and i ended up titling them ______ looks like Uncle Dan ,  _________looks like cousin Matt here., etc.

My family was just talking about this the other day.  We were saying how even mannerisms are passed down even though that person wasn't around.  My dad died when I was 6 months old and all us kids were very young. Yet we still have some of his mannerism. (so says Mom).   My mothers genes were very strong. We all resemble her and I'm her twin. ahhhhhhh   I've caught myself many times lately sounding like my mother ........even the way I moan getting out of a chair. lol
