What now? Just gets crazier and crazier!!

I swear I hate to bug you guys but I had to give you the latest.  As I said yesterday, I am seeing an attorney about getting custody.  I got a call last night from my nephew- he said my sister had "lost it" and he couldn't do anything with her and wanted me to come out and see what I could do.  I get there and they (she and her husband) have been arguing.  Guess what I walked in on????  She had the baby by the arms, and he had her by the legs and they were arguing over who was taking her.  The child was terrified and they are screaming at each other.  Before I scoped out the situation any more closely, I walked up and took the baby from them and left the room.  As I was walking out of the kitchen, I saw my sister had a knife and was going after her husband with it.  Is there no end to this madness???
I told them both that they DO NOT deserve that child, and that no child should witness that type of argument.  I also told them I was not their marriage counselor, addiction specialist, etc., and to get their s--- together, because as of that moment, I am there for the kids only.  I told them not to call me, email me, or come by unless is concerned the kids.  THen I went upstairs, got more of the baby's clothes and brought her home with me again.  WHAT IS WRONG with these people?  I cannot imagine a child being raised in that environment....

Make sure you document everything. Talk to neighbors and get affidavits of their behavior and such as it will be a fight to get custody without it. If the police have ever been called try to have your lawyer to get those reports also. God bless

How sad ,I am having a hard time keeping track of the whole story .It really would help if it was all on one thread. Then we could keep up with the what is happening. Do you have any temporary custody?.

Good for you! No child deserves to be exposed to that kind of insanity. It is so sad how low drugs can make a person go especially when there are kids involved. The kids need you now more than ever and God bless you for being there for them.

I wish you luck and I am sending my prayers for the safety of the children and for their parents madness to end.
