Poll: Do You Talk To Yourself?

Nauty is always doing Polls like this, so Im throwing my own out there too that is similar..

DO you talk to yourself? How often? What About? lol

I definitely talk to myself all the time. Don't be frightened though its all pretty normal stuff lol. If I have to be totally honest here, most of my talking to myself is bittching about stuff, lol.  Even stupid things like COME ON STUPID MICROCWAVE HURRY UP... wait...thats more like talking to the micro isnt it? hmm. Maybe I do need help...

All the time. Mostly an internal dialogue. My wife is always complaining that I don't pay aattention to her and resond to what she says.

I've tried explaining to her it's because sometimes the inner dialogue gets intense and it can be hard for someone to break into it.

She still gives me a hard time about it, though.

I promised her I'd have a good long talk with myself about paying more attention to what she says. :-)

I do talk to myself mostly not out loud tho.....It gets funny when I get lost in translation between the 3 languages I speak simultaneously
But I do scream very out loud and in all languages at my laptop and at my microwave, never fast enough!

I talk to myself all the time !!  It is embarrassing when you get caught. Most of the time I do it is when I am problem solving, like before a confrontation.  I always feel more comfortable when I am prepared.  The only problem is when I actually get to the situation, a monkey wrench is usually thrown in and I forget it all. Such a waste of time, but i still do it all the time anyway.  I call it my "verbal Valium"......

Geez, someone stated that talking to one's self is a sign of intelligence?  Well, dang it......Einstein ""Move out, da way!"

Yes and it drives me crazy. I mostly talk to myself at work it seems to help me stay focused on the task at hand and stay organized, it’s like I narrate verbally what I’m doing and am going to do next. I feel like it makes me look like a crazy person, so now I’m trying to whisper to myself. Seriously, does anyone know why some of us talk to ourselves? Are we crazy people? one young kid i work with told me he knows when people are over 30 because they talk to themselves....
