unexpected trip to the children's hospital

As alot of my friends here know my son had pediatric testicular cancer two years ago and we have been taking him every 90 days for full tests for the last two years .At our last apt they told us he was doing so well we could move to every six months we were all thrilled .That was in July he was not supposed to to back until end of DEC being of Jan.
About three weeks ago he started geting sick a lot. A lot of diarrhea that was almost grayish white. It would come for a few days then go for a few. At first we figured he had a virus he is back in school there is all sorts of junk .Then everyone in the house got sick about a week after this started I just thought he was picking everything up .Everyone got better in the house but him he would be fine for a few days then it would start over .
We went to see his family doctor yesterday .My son tumor was a very odd one they don't know to much about it its a stromal tumor that in its self is not that rare but the type he has was ...unforuntaly the stromal tumors tend to appear in the intestinal track. He has been overly tired was well. His speech teacher who we are very close to called me last week to tell me he was really sleepy and did not seem as if he was feeling well.

So our family doctor called his oncologist and they are trying to fit us in the next few days for the full battery of tests .I feel like the most selfish person in the world. I sat here last night thinking about the fact I cant go back threw this again. I am not going threw anything he is !!!!! The doctor said if everything checks out with the cancer he will get him right in to see a ped gastroenteroligst so we can figure out what is happening. I feel drained already and nothing has been done.So everyone keep him in your prayers. I will keep everyone filled in as we go.

I am so sorry to hear about your son....I have 3 small children and could not imagine going through what you are now. Don't be so hard on yourself..and try not to stress so much ( I know that's hard)  but God will be there beside you guiding you and your family. I will pray for your family and may God bless you all.
