why cant I ever stay off drugs

Well I posted a question about filling Adderall early. This is my new drug of choice.I'm 34 I have bipolar and have been an addict for god 19 years I've had an issue with coke and Crystal meth when I got pregnant with my son I was so proud of myself that I quit everything cold turkey.Than 3 months pregnant I had an issue with my gallbladder was put on vics my whole pregnancy so ended up addicted 2 those and I moved onto OC I went 2 detox got on suboxne which helped than was put on Adderall and fell in love with it I lost so much weight had enough energy 2 do everything I needed 2 do for the day.Now I go threw mine and buy more with money from my suboxne and for some strange reason started buying methadone. So I'm writting this tonight because this is the first night without either and the body aches are killing me and I'm stuck because I'm ashamed once again I screwd up and my family and friends have already tld me no more screw ups.I just want to be happy without medicating myself I don't know what to do?

Q: Why cant I ever stay off drugs?
A: Because you are an addict

You can detox, go into treatment (rehab) and go to meetings until you're blue in the face... but until you admit to yourself that you are an addict, and that you are powerless over your addiction and that you want help, your addiction will rule you.

Treatment centers, sponsors, AA, NA, CA, etc. can all SHOW you the path, but you have to chose to walk that path.

That being said, once you've made the choice to walk the path, you don't have to walk it alone. We're all here to support you in your journey.

We've all been there kiddo. Hang in there.

Sounds like you really need to get to some meetings. Do you want to be free of addictive substances?
