First & foremost, please discuss this with your doctor! I know it's embarrassing but your doctor is trained to deal with stuff like this. They can help you safely stop taking this medication. Tramadol does have a high risk of seizure, I had a seizure while I was holding my infant daughter & it was caused by Tramadol. Be safe, do the right thing & come clean with your doc!
Hi,yes it is very possible to break a tramadol addiction. It is hard but very doable,You have been taking it such a long time so first and foremost you must discuss with a doctor a taper schedule because tramadol has a risk of seizure associated with it.Secondly after such a long time taking tramadol a slow taper will lengthen the withdrawals (not eliminate them) but should be less severe.Plenty of advice can be given on easing the symptoms of detox.Again, discuss with a doctor firstly.Take care
