methadone detox

I've been on methadone for 5 years. Last year I was charged with a felony and the legal system is forcing me to get off methadone in order to attend a "drug court" program, or go to jail. Do I have any rights under the ADA or is there anything I can do to fight this?                                                                                                                                                                                                          by:Cryssy

Oh my gosh your story is the same as mine.Only I was on 210 mgs.Had to quit cold turkey.I was going into drug court and it changed my life.Methedone is harder to get off that heroin-trust me on that.It is possible.Looking back I had no energy,I felt depressed and I had to pass all their u.a. teGo for drug court ,they help you, they really dosts.which I did. They told me I wouldnt last a month. That pissed me off.I graduated.

Don't look for a reason to stay on meth. Use it as a reason to get clean. JAIL OR METH
Should be a easy decision.

hey, i just quit methadone C/T 40mg. If i gettin charged with a felony, i do whatever i need to stay out of jail. Also a + side to quitting. u get ur life back, and not have to rely on the toxic methadone everyday. Good luck. (i dont know **** about ADA tho lol)
