11 DAYS CT OXY! UPDATE

Well, we're at day 11. Husband is still wanting to run his face through the wall. Emotions today-somewhat humurous, but angry. I appreciate the posts immensely! I was getting worried, because yesterday, he was at his wits end, and was very frustrated, and I was frustrated, and nobody responded, so I was feeling hopeless. But after getting home, and reading the posts, I feel better. I DARE NOT, tell my hubby that he's looking at what was it, 9 weeks, until he feels better???!!! GOD NO!!   I read him the posts, and one of them said, that still not 100% and it's been awhile, and he said WHY did you just read that to me?? (Like I knew what it was going to say anyway) He said, you know how I feel about that? I CAN'T HEAR ANYBODY SAYING THAT THEY ARE AT 60 DAYS & STILL FEELING TERRIBLE! IT makes me loose hope! So, I had to pump him back up, and then he was ok. Today a little better than yesterday- He's listening to music LOUDLY, he says it makes him feel better. He says i'm trying to explain to you as detailed as i can how i feel, and right now, I just want to smash everything in site! DO YOU UNDERSTAND????? He says, ask one of your friends on here, I'm sure they know what i'm talking about. I dont want to hear, see, smell, touch, be touched BY ANYONE! Do YOU UNDERSTAND??? So- this is day 11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did he take xanax before detoxing? Because he is crossing the line with the xanax now.
16 days is too long. Who prescribes him the xanax? Does doctor know he detoxed? It's one thing to read about the xanax withdrawal. It's a whole different deal going through it.Have you tried L-theanine for his anxiety and to help with sleep. If he keeps taking the xanax, his anxiety will get worse. And he will never be able to sleep without them. No one ever died from lack of sleep. When his body needs sleep. He will sleep.
Good luck.

Hey everyone! I'm sorry I haven't posted in a few days, I thought I might give you all a break from the stress known as US!!! Hope you all got some good rest! So, today is day 16??, i think? Sorry, losing track of the days, cause he still isn't feeling good!!! Actually I'm not going to lie, he seems to be definately better than before without a doubt, and just like you said above, his foolishness on REFUSING to take ANYTHING like the clonodine(?), but YEAH on the xanax, I believe and so does he, that he is now, going through or the reason for the past few days feeling absolutely horrid, is because of the xanax w/d's now!!!  SO UNFORTUNATELY I HAD to get some z's from my friend, because we sure can't get ahold of any pot! He was at his wits end, and i just couldn't handle it, and he was frustrated and angry as you all know, so i got the z's for him. they are a way lower dosage than his normal ones, they are .5's. I also am picking up a script for the regular z's tomorrow. I know, I know, I know, NOT GOOD, but I guess we'll just have to wein him down off the z's once he is feeling better. I have read ALOT about the c/t off of z's and I think from what i have read, it's dangerous to c/t off of them, am i right?  He was feeling terrible again today, but i FORCED him to get up, and drive me, & both my daughters to school, & me to an appt. My 14 yr old woke up waaayyyy late and she can't afford to miss anymore school, so we had to take her. But the drive was good for him. He stopped and got some immodium, and pepto because he is going through some diarrhea & upset stomach again. He also came home, and mowed the lawn, (or actually part of the lawn lol!) before he had to stop & take a break, he was sweating and felt like he was going to pass out!!!  Maybe the rls has subsided some, i can't really feel him moving around, up & down, the past few days. He said of course AGAIN, today that he is really trying hard, he is pushing through, and he will continue, but WHEN is it going to get easier???? WHEN is he going to feel better than he does??? Of course he has no energy at all, his sleeping is few and far between, the emotions! oh my! thats a whole other post!! lol! He is getting up on that treadmill i have to say, all day long though. which he is forcing himself to do, but he's doing it! I couldn't be prouder of him, i really couldn't. He really is being a trooper through all of this!!! Still skitzy but maybe not as bad???  Ok- just wanted to give my warm, & loving friends the latest update on our ROAD TO RECOVERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Much love to you all!! XXXOOOO  smooches!!!!!!!!!

Hi There, I just got back from the gym and thought that I would check on you. How are you? How is he? I understand. I have been in wd many times. I think that the more times I do it- the worse it gets. This will be the last for me. No more freaking around with pills.

I still have insomnia- but I have had it since Jr High. I am now taking melantonin and "restful legs". You can buy both at the drugstore. I am not sure that this would help him now- it might once he feels better. I still have RLS too and that horrible creepy crawly feeling sometimes. It happened at work on Mon. I thought that I was going to go nuts. I took some clondine. It helped some.

Anyway- I just wanted to check on you. You are so good to him- I sure hope that he appreciates you. ~M
