I made my second meeting!!!

I love narcotics anonymous! Day nine has been a trial. I'm still waking up at 5:30 am like clockwork. I can't lay in bed so I get up. I'm becoming ok with that, but mentally it is a lot of alone time. My children get up between 7:30 and 8. I let my husband sleep in when he is off so he is usually up around 9 or so. I challenge myself everyday to not be sad, keep moving, but today I definitely needed my meeting. I was connected with a woman today that is going to reach out to some other women and get me started in the program. I only listened again, but it was refreshing to be around people like me. I met a man with 22 years clean!!!! Can you believe it? And you know what he said to me? I asked him how? He said I just decided not to use today. Amazing. I know my hardest time is in the evening, when I am ready to go to bed and my body won't let me. So I will post again tonight to clear my head a little bit. Thank you all for supporting me on my ninth clean day!

HEy  congrats on day 9 your off to a great start im also happy to see your going to N/A it has really helped me and I always say it is mandatory to help stay clean the program works if you work it just keep coming back anyways keep posting for support.......Gnarly

Yep! Day by Day..Minute by Minute..Good for you..You can also try some AA. I go to both..The more the merrier. I hear all kinds of stories that make mine look like a walk in the park. Yes, like IBK said get some numbers and call when you are hurting or craving or anything!! There are a lot of people on here that have 5yrs or MORE..How do you think they got here..SUPPORT and all the Support you can get..I wish you the best and great job so far.
