2 week flush and fit kit

I bought this kit at Whole foods supposed to detoxify your liver and colon and fat cells. Well I started it Saturday and yesterday I felt like crap and today is worse. They have a suppor tline and I researched it online. If your body is as in bad shape it can be like having the flu for a couple days then you're supposed to feel great. I have a headache and absolutely feel like i have a flu. Anyone ever tried this. Looking for some guidance I really don't need anything to make me feel like crap I am at day 36 off oxycodone, and thought it would help.
I am drinking the protein shakes and taking a multi every day but this really ***** I think maybe I should stop and wait. No idea what is in this but I have a headache and my muscles and joints ache.
if there is a chance of getting over the hump and feeling great after it would be worth it.

Please respond if you've ever tried one of the detoxifying body flushes.

And thank you to all of you for helping me get to 36 days opiate free.
Sharon

good for you, and so happy you've decided NO MORE!

and maybe it will work, not really saying that it won't work. for some it does, and for some it may not - like i've said, everyone is different.

Sharon-
I do think maybe doing the cleanse may be too much for your body to take right now.  Especially if you've had a cold.  Your immune system along with the rest of you is still in recovery.  Maybe trying in the Spring once you've had some rest and healing time is for the best...

Keep taking your vitamins and supplements and treat yourself with lots of love and kindness...You've come so far and I'm really proud of you.  And I also admire you...You are a very strong woman and an inspiration to me....

congrats on making it to 36 days!!

i didn't do anything for my WDs, other than detox at home alone, drank lots of fluids and kept my mind as busy as i could. i know that i've seen a lot of members here talk about how they were unlucky when it came to getting time off of work - but thankfully, last year, i had a boss that understood that i needed the time off. i mean, being on the pills allowed me to work all day and all night, almost seven days a week. so when i asked for a couple of weeks off, it was granted to me. so i took that time off and flushed my pills. and sat at home. i got out of the house, kept my mind going and that is what worked best for me. i know a lot of people on here have tried herbal remedies and other things, so hopefully someone will be along shortly that MAY have done the same thing you have.

i know my friend and i went through detoxing together, just in separate places [our own homes] and after three weeks, she did a cleansing like this as well. instead of it making her better, it ended up making her worse. i think it had to do with the fact that she went through the flu like symptoms when first getting off the pills, and then brought all those symptoms back by doing a detoxing cleanse after everything was said and done. however, everyone is different when it comes to this sort of thing. what may work for one person may not work for the next.

we're all here for you!!! and again, congrats! <333

Thanks so much do you remember how long the symptoms lasted ?I'm stopping this today if this continues. it is tough enough to be at 36 days, I may need to wait until the spring. It helps so much to have some feedback.
I went through hell when I detoxed from opiates some toxins aren't going to kill me.
I have been able to maintain and feel almost normal some days. What am I thinking bringing on these symptoms. I really thought I was going to feel great. I can hardly move; headache, stiff neck, jooint pain. Last week I was sick with a cold.
I think my body is so broken down from the opiate detox it is not handling this well.
I took the morning pack I will decide at lunch whether to continue this hell.

I personally haven't tried it...but I have reasearched something similar...it was a chinese detoxifier...and it stated the same thing you are mentioning...... the person would have flu like symptoms and feel like **** and you might want to plan a getaway when using it....it also said it was because of cleaning out your system.

Morning Sharon...
Congratulations on 36 days(:
I have tried those body flushes and experienced unpleasant symptoms at first.  I think that it's normal as the toxins leave your body...Kind of like w/d.  That being said-it could be the flu, or it could be too intense for your body not far out of detox.  It's hard to say.  I do an infrared sauna every day and I feel kind of achy and flu like for an hour afterwards and then I feel much, much better.
Headaches are caused by dehydration 90% of the time....So make sure you're drinking lots and lots of water to flush.  The muscle and joint ache could be from the toxins leaving your muscles and joints and also from dehydration.  Are you drinking lots of fluids?

I hope this helps....
Proud of you....
