Hi Kim yes it did control the anxiety . Its funny as you can see by my membership date I have been here before . I always will remember the help this site gave me ALWAYS ! .As I said this is not everyday I would take this dose. 2 or 3 days a week I would take nothing as for fear of addiction and the whole host of problems that go with it. I will talk to anyone of you good people here on medhelp or on yahoo anytime you need an ear . So please tell me what you think now about this dose ? Thanks Jim
GTMI is right tapering will make it easier, but will prolong it a bit.Is it possible to talk to your doctor about the anxiety? I know when I was taking the vicodin I never felt anxious about anything, even really big things, that now make me feel like I want to jump out of my skin sometimes.Where you on the lexapro prior to the vicodin and did it work to control your anxiety then?
GoingToMakeIt's advice is right on the money. Clear your schedule for at least seven days, check out the nutritional info here, and try to have someone check in on you daily, if possible. Days 2 through 5 will be very cruddy indeed, but you'll feel it lift -- it's quite remarkable.
Then dump the pills (better to dump them first). If it gets to be too much, you might look at medical assistance. Keep posting!
Just remember -- it'll be over soon, and you'll be out of the trap.
Tapering is going to make it easier, but then it drags out. At you dose quitting cold turkey will probably be not too bad. Like a really bad flu for 3-5 days.
