3rd day of detox does anyone else smell fish?

Merry Christmas to all.  I'm on my 3rd day of detox and I can barely eat anything but fruit and breads because it all smells like fish.  Has anyone else had this problem?
Also, today has been the hardest so far. I feel like I'm crawling out my skin, everything hurts and I can't concentrate on anything.

Finally..........something I'm an expert on!

My first two attempts at Cold Turkey Bingo were like total haywire with a nasty nasal smash-up. I smelled the weirdest things at the oddest times. One day I would smell Ben Franklin's gym socks & the very next day I'd catch a whiff of french toast burning. All day long. It was as though my nose could taste. It was gross.

I'd get in the shower and the shampoo would smell like kerosene one minute and then like rotten pineapples the next. One morning, I think it was my 2nd day, while brushing my teeth, I noticed that my Crest toothpaste wasn't really my Crest toothpaste and that I was brushing my teeth with the gritty residue of my cats litterbox. It was awful! It smelled like, well, it smelled like a cats litterbox. It was sick. I double-checked and sure as %$*! it was actually only Crest toothpaste.

Have you started sneezing yet? Wait until you start sneezing. This is my 3rd and by far most successful shot at getting clean from a 3 year oxy addiction and I've been sneezing for 55 consecutive days. Each sneeze has been a different flavor.  You will smell things that you never thought possible. I've smelled the entire solar system. Dogs, caribous and even Caligulia are jealous of me.

The thing is....it's normal or so I'm told. Enjoy it while it lasts because I'm told that it will cease soon. Although in my case...I doubt it. I NEVER snorted those damn pills but I've apparently screwed up my nasal passages someway or somehow as a result of stupid abuse. I swear to God that I smell Joe Namath's fur coat right now. And they say this is normal right of passage for a recovering addict? Gesundhiet!!!

Thanks.....Even my tooth paste.you guessed it,fish???? I'm going to run all of the hot water out of my heater on a loooooong hot shower.It only took about twenty minutes to post this....NEVER AGAIN,EVER!!!!!!Will I take a pill....EVER!!!!!
