Yes indeed..Dancing & Music is a Plus here in Recovery..I used to be a professional dancer (way, way back when) and now I am back in the studios hoping to be able to lead a class or perform with others. Keep on doing whatever works. I am proud of you and you sure are Blossoming out here, just like a Beautiful Flower..Changes are great!!
Bless
Love your post! Keep that positive attitude ... It will go along way! I remember early in my detox close to where you are I would crank the music up and dance around my living him with my little one ... (He is almost 3 now) the look on his face was priceless he loved it and it made me feel so free and happy!

Thank u all for your support and I will keep on keepin on..Later
Aw, that does the heart good! Both your efforts, AND the cute story about scaring your son! Ha!
I just recently started doing an exercise CD, and my kids are both flabbergasted by it (needless to it's foreign for them to see me do that, lol). Oh the comments! Not always very supportive either, but VERY funny! Thank GOD I have a sense of humor!
If you want to add some variety, there are all kinds of work out CDs out there as you know. The one I got is nice. It has 15 minute sections, and there are the three levels demonstrated (beginner, intermediate and advanced). It's a little of cardio (low impact) and a little muscle toning.
When I got in shape YEARS (okay decades...yeesh) ago, I made myself a tape (yes, a cassette tape, lol) of all of my FAVORITE upbeat music, mostly from the 80's, and I would go walking listening to that. It kept me moving faster and kept the mood up. I loved it. Come to think of it, you reminded me to put together some music on my phone for that purpose, thanks! ;0)
Dance away!!! Keep doing what you're doing, it will pay off big!
Dance away...I swear that it will always put a smile on your face to crank your music and dance like its nobody's business! Keep pushing forward - you are doing GREAT!
thats awesome you go girl!!!!!!
Yay for you! Crankin the Zeppelin! You are doing really well sweet lady. Take some motrin for the headaches and make sure you are eating right. Exercise will definitely help the depression, and you could try the L-tyrosine if you're not on any antidepressant. Apparently you can't take both. Anyway, you have nothing to be depressed about anyway. YOU'RE FREE! You made it! Now sure up that aftercare. Come over to the status and we'll make you laugh! Great job! Keep it going!
Good for you Hun. You keep on dancing. It will repopulate all your natural
Brain chemistry. You are doing awesome.
Keep on keepin on. Congrats.
