Hang in there mama. We are with you!
Yes... I work 8 hrs today, 10 tomorrow, and 6 on Friday..
You can do it Mama!! Im detoxing at work too. Just think, make it to the weekend and your good to go. You got 2 days done. The next couple days will not be fun but just concentrate on one day at a time. Do you have the weekend off?
FATHER God.. Please put a shield of protection over the agony that our sister /brother is experiencing.. Please show her to lean on You and allow her /him to be carried as you point out in the"foot prints in the sand".. Let the angels of heaven chase the demons from her mind and soothe her aching body...It's in your name we pray.. Amen
For me, day 4 was a turning point for the physical ailments but the mental is still happening.. However, this site HAS SAVED ME... knowing that there are people that understand...
Dear Lord, Please breathe your Holy Spirit into the mind, body and soul of mamaamw. Please give her strength and the courage to get through day 3 clean. Ease her burden and carry her when she cannot walk.
Take some Immodium and Motrin. Stay away from coffee. Drink water and snack on chocolate. Put on your big girl panties!
I'm praying for you too.... Are you sure you can't give yourself another day or so from work.... It's doable, but it's very tough. You're in my thoughts and prayers sweetie.... We're in your corner and we want you to get through this... The other side is sooooo worth it... Is there anything specific we can help you with? Keep posting...
I'm sorry I thought I had put your screen name in those spots before I posted.
God of mercy, we bless you in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who ministered to all who come to Him. Give your strength to (name of the one I am praying for), who is bound by the chains of addiction. Enfold him/her in your love and restore him/her to freedom through your grace.
Lord, look with compassion on all those who have lost their health and have broken relationships because of their attachment to the object of their addiction. Restore to them the assurance of your unfailing mercy, and strengthen them in the work of recovery. To those who care for them, grant patient understanding and a love that perseveres.
Lord, in your servant, Venerable Matt Talbot you have given us a wonderful example of triumph over addiction, of devotion to duty, and of lifelong reverence of the Holy Sacrament. May his life of prayer and penance give (name of the one I am praying for) courage to take up his/her cross and follow in the footsteps of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Father, we ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
I will for sure say prayers, however you have to know that the symptoms will not just go away, 48 hours in. You probably have another couple of days at least of these symptoms. Are you taking vitamins and supplements? Staying well hydrated? Getting some mild exercise? Eating? All of that and more will help! Soaking in a tub will help with the body aches as well. Best wishes! Stay strong,
