Day one AGAIN! Not been to bad, but I know what is coming! This is it. I am done. No more pills. I'm sick of this & having them control me! I can and WILL do this this time around!

hi everyone!  im here still fighting the fight!  i woke up today feeling better, but its still early!  my legs were killing me last night.  hope all is well!!!!!!!!!!!!!  i WILL make it THIS time.  There will be no 5 times in WD!!!

Praying is good.... but a good plan is BETTER.  Learn from this and move forward.  Time to try something new.

well I got to give it to you girl you got determination like you said 4 times a charm as long as you dont quit trying you will always be in the fight .......I hope for your sake this one does it detoxing 4 times s u c k s lets do this right once and for all.....its members like you that make me so greatful I was able to quit.......I remember screaming at my wife Kat.....'im going to be a Fing junking the rest of my life so I know how hard it is and am greatful I was able to get off the methadone at all they say 5yrs at the clinic and your a lifer well i proved them wrong and just know girl I feel your pain and know your struggle did anny one ever tell you YOU CAN DO THIS just stick with it fight off the cravings and remember to change all persons places and things that remind you of using I look forward to announcing you have 30 day clean and I have all the cofadence your going to make it good luck and God bless........Gnarly

Hey all!! So much great feedback!! Well, i had to go back to school today after THANKSGIVING break so it was a lil hard to get focused again, i wont lie to myself or you guys for that matter, I took a pill before clas :( however, its part of recovery, we are going to fall but getting back up makes the difference!! I have 9 pills left and im DETERMINED to get thru this. I have a two year old and my husband works nights wed thur and fri...im so frightened of not being able to make it. Im mostly scared of the stomach issues just because i have a terrible phobia of vomitting also (yeah, im a real piece of work..lol). Im afraid of giving in. However,like the quotes above mentioned "nothing changes if you are comfortable"....and i DO REALLY REALLY WANT THIS!! Lets stick together!! God Bless us all!!

Good Job.  I'm on day 3, again.  I took 2 Norco on Friday, 1/2 on Sat. and on Sun. poured some water in the empty bottle and drank it.  So maybe, only on day 2.  I don't want to do this anymore. Imodium helps a lot with the diarreha, then I'm drinking wine to forget, at least for these first few days.  Good Luck to all.

I found comfort in reading quotes during my first few days...

"Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it."

"Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new."

These two were helpful. Hang it there and keep posting. You're already further than you probably thought you would be.

Ok so I am 27 years old and my pill of choice was Norco's.  Wow I was bad with them too! I just want to say that after 3 years of abusing this drug, I went to my doctor and got help. Out patient help so I didn't have to go to a hospital or rehab. My doctor prescribed me Suboxone. It's exactly like methadone for heroine but less potent I suppose. After 3 months on the Suboxone, I was clean and sober. I've been clean since 2006. I'm not saying it was easy because it was anything but easy. It helped me get off of the pills so I hope this helps a bit.

This site is amazing the support is overwhelming like u said we all at the same place right now I'm havin a bad day sorta not like yesterday the spray I got for rls seems to take the edge but I just wanna pill so bad but won't n can't get any so I'm glad I whined my self 3 weeks a month ago I rember the first 3 days were the worst someone on here told me don't think of pervious timetimes tell. Yaself ya got the flu its sorta working but in the bacl off my mind I wish my phone would ring but I know it won't. N I'm glad

Hi! Yes we should all kep up! I'm in mesquite tx! Close to you blessed! We GOT this! Pray pray pray! And believe it or not STAY BUSY! That's the only things that helps me, no matter how much pain I'm in. Walking and cooking and cleaning helps! Let's keep posting, we can all help each other :)

Hey guys, im on my first day, i was at 2 days yesterday but went back on my taper, i havent had any today, i have ten pills left, i want to see how long i can go again before i take a half a pill. Can we all keep up on here? I could really use some support, especially since we are all almost at the same level. Not sure if i am allowed to ask but what city are you guys in?
