Calling all friends....can ANYONE relate to this feeling??

I postd this and I can not find my post......trying one more time to see if ANYONE has felt this!!

Ok....this sounds nuts I know........background 94 days off vics after 10 years of 6-8 pills a day.  Went off CT...felt awful....been thru the depression.......anxiety and now....this bizzaro feeling.  I  thought it was anxiety....tested that theory an hour ago by taking xanax that IF it was anxiety it would have stopped but it did not.  It feell like pressure or tingling at my temples....it comes and goes.....every day for the last couple weeks.  Could this be my brain healing after messing it up for 10 years.

I have scheduled appointments with my primary care doc and neurologist.

Was hoping someone may feel or have felt something like this.

Bunco,
With us being long time users of 10 years I am only on day 5 and I get constant headaches anyway from sinuses and tension headaches. The tension headaches I get is like a band around my head and the most pressure is around the temples. I dont think it is the brain, but it might have something to do with blood flow and your body still healing. You are doing the right thing about going to see your doctor, make sure that if they prescribe anything for you that it is not an opiate or a benzo medication. See if there is a natural way to help relieve the tension or pressure. I have an acupunturist that I go to once a week. Good luck and keep us informed of what they tell you.
Thinking of you and best wishes.

I have been through the anxiety and had to take xanax for panic attacks.  I cannot say that I ever had tingling at my temples.  There were some days that I had pressure above my right eye, almost like a headache which I never get.   I think you are doing the right thing seeing a doctor.  I do not think it is your brain, but it could be an issue with blood flow.  I would have quit a bit of tingling in my finger tips after I quit.

Good luck, keep us posted.

Hi bunco, I haven't had that happen to me. I think it's good that you're going to the doctor. Maybe someone else has felt like that and can help more than I have. I hope you find some answers.

Hugs,

Minn
