With speed that hump in the road is the mind game.....That is where our thinking is crucial. First a positive out look I know is difficult but start to focus on the benefits of not being wired all the time.. Sleep is a blessing when you drift off.. No more wasted hours on projects that go nowhere. Money in your pocket.. Freedom.. Food.. The list goes on and on.. You need to wrap your head around the fact that you screwed with your brain pretty good and it is going to take time to fix. Force yourself to do every day things.. do some extra exercise or if weather permits get outside.. change things up... I'm proud and happy you made it this far.. I think you can take this all the way.. change your approach and you will have a easier time... warmly lesa
while i was on a different drug than you the dependence on it is the same...one of the major reasons i never stopped doing it was because i knew i would have to live without that "feeling" that got me thru the day...superwoman...clean house etc....but that's a mind trick, because if you remember before you started using you were probably functioning just fine....and the drug just made it a little more fun at first...and then the weekend thing started into a well ill do some monday so i can work better and before you know it its everyday and you think you can't live without it ...but you can because you have!!! i take celexa,i had tried paxil and it didnt work for me...after i started 40 mgs of celexa the desire for the drug went away (this was 3 years ago) and so since i thought i was normal i could do my vics and oxys...yeah right...so now im just taking the celexa and get on a good vitamin regime you will notice in a few days energy coming back. Also im a quick fix chick too....the first dose of my celexa i felt like i had done 2 shots so i called the pharmicist since i knew it takes a few weeks to get into your system...he said my seratonin was that low that i will feel the effects sooner..so i hope that gives you hope there...sorry if this is rambling but im on day 16 and this forum really helps...(youll get addicted to it) also please start b6 and b12 i know they sound boring but you will notice a difference...if you dont like the paxil try the celexa...i went thru effexor (deeeeeeerrrrrrrrr) then paxil (anxious and crabby) to the celexa (like a constant xanax for me) also i am looking into sam-e as a supplement to the celexa..have to see if i can do that you have to watch the interactions...weel good luck and trust me and everybody else here you are not alone......
