Keep posting, I know you can do this. Sometimes it is one hour at a time, or one minute at a time... it does get better and it is the most important thing you will ever do. You have to take care of you. Everything else will fall into place. You are in my prayers and thoughts. Best to you. Andrew

You made my day yesterday.

thank you for responding...i truly mean it! i sometimes feel so alone in my head.

i'm doing things differently this time, i'm seeing an addiction counselor and PRAYING for strength to get through this. my sister has been in the hospital and i know she has pain meds so i've stayed away...i know i can't trust myself--she understands but i still feel bad. I HAVE LITERALLY CALLED PEOPLE AND TOLD THEM TO LEAVE ME ALONE because i don't trust myself in a moment of weakness, and there have been many!

i want this so bad and to be honest 5 days clean has been the longest i've gone in about 3 yrs.

@ andrew...i am so happy to hear from you...you were there with me during the suboxone "trial". i am ashamed to say that it didn't work...duh!..lol. i hope you and your family are doing well...much love and thanks!

when GNARLY says it's 1/3 physical and 2/3 mental, he aint kiddin'....sometimes i feel like i'm experiencing depersonalization because the anxiety is so bad, BUT on a great note, my husband took me down to the hudson river yesterday and for about an hour i felt free. THANK YOU GOD! i needed that in the worst way!

HI YOU will go threw stages of withdrawals there will be emotional stages anxiety stages lack of energy sleeplessness and many more it takes a wile to feel better a month is being realistic for some it longer mine took 90 days but I broke a 16 yr habit ending in 6 1/2 ys of methadone so it was to be expected ......it is what it is you have to gain acceptance or your going to drive your self nutz yogi makes some Kava calming tea it worrks great you may want to try some if you cant find it locally you can get it on the internet soothing hot baths will help also just know this is a stage that will pass I to believe in prayer and it helps if you believe in God give it a shot keep posting for support this should leave just like it came on good luck and God bless>>>>>>>Gnarly
