Well Done & Congrats on Day 6!! Steady as she goes & keep your eyes on the prize each & every day. Have you given any thought to how you will protect the 'new you'? Great Work! :)
congrats!!!! 6 days is HUGE when you are counting every minute in the day. :)
Congratulations on 6 days! You may not think it is much but this is HUGE. You are actually through the worst of the physical withdrawals.
Have you started thinking about aftercare? Now is the time to start checking into NA meetings and whatever else you can do to help you stay clean :-)
I want to go to an NA meeting so bad... but am so worried about pulling into the parking lot and walking through the door... Is it much simpler than I imagine... As my mind tells me that I will never feel better after leaving that meeting... Any thoughts on the apprenhension...
It is normal to feel apprehensive. I sure did when I went to my meeting last week. I was worried about who I would see there, would they know me, would I have to talk etc.
Well, I didn't see anyone I knew, everyone was super nice and supportive and I was told I didn't have to talk if I didn't want to.
Once I knew I could just sit and listen I was able to relax. I'm going to actually try to talk next time ... not that you can tell on here but I'm actually really shy in person. In groups of more than 2 people I clam up (which is why I am married to a very talkative man lol). Sooooo this is going to be hard on two fronts...but I'm going to do it!
Just relax and go....no one is gonna bite you :-D
Congratulations on day 6 : )
Well done!!!! Congratulations, you can DO this!
