I feel like slipping .... I gave my body a perc but it acts like I want more . Almost to say yeah you gave less so no chills for you but not good enough - this weening thing seems crazy - I'm just toying with my addiction .
I need help. I'm on 2 40 mg of Oxy a day and three percocet 10/325 for the break thru pain. I'm starting to take more a day than I should for reasons of stress of not having a job now. What do I do first.
I have found that tapers are a waste of time unless you were at a very very high dose. I would just sustain from taking any more pain pills and find the w/d from there. You are down to such a low dose that I think you will be fine. I went c/t 4 days ago from 250mg/oxycodone a day and am getting through it one day at a time. It is best to make it as short as possible and not wait it out. Yes you will feel extremely week and most likely sick from a taper. No matter how small the decrease your body will always feel it. Keep in mind that a tolerence is still being built and your body is actually requesting for more of the drug not less. So any taper is going to cause some w/d. I would jump now and get it over with. It will only be a few days and youll start feeling much much better. -John
hey thanks ! I do find that my head feels like air is escaping . Like a person pushing on the sides of my head and that ring sound in the ear . very weird . Sad thing is I drop to day again but if I just stopped I could get this over with sooner
Fatigue & lack of energy is a FOR SURE symptom of tapering. Remember that even with tapering, you're still going to experience a certain amount of withdrawl symptoms. They're just going to be less severe, but those you do feel will be stretched out over a longer period of time.
If you went cold-turkey and just stopped, the fatigue would be fairly severe. Some folks just can't get out of bed for 2-3 days, or sometimes even longer.
I applaud your effort to stop, and I'm proud of you for continuing to post even though there has been a lack of response to your post, although now it'll be up top so maybe more folks will weigh in.
Keep us posted Brother!

I know that lack of energy and yawning is definitely a side effect of tapering. I myself have been tapering off of Norco. Today I have only taken one and I have been constantly yawning all day. The only reason I have energy.. well at least SOME energy is because I've been chugging Red Bull's all day.
I would love to just be able to take a few days off of work and stay in bed... but unfortunately that isn't an option for me.
