Take a look at the amino acid protocol at the bottom right of this page. It gives great suggestions as to what to take to alleviate just about any symptom. Also, taking Magnesium and Potassium helps with neuromuscular communication. That way when your body is in pain, your brain will respond quicker.
thanks so much for your reply. My job is taxing, and I;m still real achy, and really down. I can't fake being up and pleasant. from what I've read this may take awhile. I need some relief. I take vitamin b, immodium, and anything i've read that will help.... just tired of being so drained. I don;t crave at all. I just can't afford to get questioned about my sudden change in personality. I take care of people, try to cheer them up....
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's Office of Diversion Control lists kratom as a "Drug and Chemical of Concern" and says there's no legitimate medical use for kratom in the United States. A DEA report issued in December 2010 says pharmacology studies show that kratom has "opioid-like activity in animals," reducing pain, producing "sedative and euphoric effects," and a host of side effects including nausea, constipation, loss of appetite, and even "psychotic symptoms" in "kratom addicts," including "hallucinations, delusion, and confusion."
In my opinion, it is substituting one drug for another. There is no magic pill that you can take to lessen the withdrawal symptoms. If you have made it 8 days without subs, then the physical withdrawal is over. What do you want to use Kratom for?
