90 days Norco FREE!!!!!!

It's good to see posts of others excited about their sobriety. 2 days, 7 days, 30 days!!! It just shows those who want to get clean, that others are doing it. 90 days ago I quit cold turkey from abusing Norco. It's been a long journey, a journey I'm still on, but it feels great. I got my life back, I'm in control of my life, not those little pills. I still am not %100 energy wise, but I keep improving. Aftercare, aftercare, aftercare is the key to staying clean. That and being honest with your family and doctors. We think our family doesn't know about our secret, but they do. We owe it to them to be honest. I was afraid my wife would be disappointed, she was right by my side during the hardest of times. I was afraid my doctor would report me in some way, he shook my hand and gave me praise. We have to break the chains of addiction ourselves by being honest with ourselves, our families, and our doctors. I can't believe it.....90 Days!!!! If I can do it, YOU can do it. This site was and is huge in my recovery. Thanks to everyone who gave me encouragement, advice, understanding, and hope!! Thank you all.

Great post!  Thank u.... very encouraging.   I am on day 17 of a long term suboxone addiction.   U mentioned u can tell still not at 100% energy level.  U do have more energy now than first thirty days I hope?   I am so weak n lethargic.   Feel so drained.  I am in for the long run but hoping to get some energy back soon.  Tuff to get my work completed right now.  Thank u again for ur encouraging post!
