Day 5 Thank God

Thank God for everyone who posts on this website and encourages all of us trying to slay the beast.  Day 5 and I woke up early and got out of bed ready to at least go make a pot of coffee.  Feeling so much better today.  As far as I am concerned there is no physical pain worht ever taking Hydrocodone again.

Same here. Day 5 (off the subs) i was feeling much better, too. Now for me it's day 12 just imagine how you'll feel then! I'm so happy for you, you shoul be fine just in time for Thanksgiving. Congrats.

Great job Red ---- You are through the worst of it and you made it.  Keep on keeping on now with the mental part of the addiction -- get some help -- be accountable. You know the routine.  We are all so proud of you.  Please do everyone a favor and continue to post to help those who are (and will) be at the place you were a few days ago - -- encouragement is always needed on this site. good for you..day 5 is great.  yhat first week is so hard.  but you have done it...keep going.  are you getting any aftercare???
