Aftermath-Oxycontin

I had a few questions about the withdrawal symptoms of OxyContin. I had used it (smoking and inhaling) for about 2 months starting at around 20mg a day, peaking at about 80-120mg a day and then weaning off down to 20mg again. I saw a doctor about detox and there wasn't much help there. I realize that my usage was very minimal over a long period but I still experienced withdrawals. its been about a month now and I am noticing pimple-like rashes mainly on my legs but slowly spreading upwards. Is this a symptom of withdrawal? And if so, what can be done to treat it and how long does it last?

oh i hope your ex is doing better. its so hard when you're stuck like that. you may have done the best thing for her. i am going through it now with my guy. he is in detox for the 7th time in the 5 years we've been together as i type this. last summer he was in icu because of complete kidney shut down. alcohol and oxys.... i have a terminal disease and have these pills at home. i have found myself locking them up so he does not take them, but his "best friend" sells the ****. it *****, i wish her only the best and if you ever see this, hopefully you will reply with "she's clean & doing great" unfortunately i know the only other avenues that street drugs can bring a person on. best of everything to you - that took guts!

I'm with IBK...the rash is probably not related to withdrawals...
Go to a doctor and get it checked out.
