order of wd's

About hydrocodone... I have read several times about some people who wake up in the beginning's of withdrawal. My question is what is the 1st wd symptom. Also if someone could give me a estimate of when to expect to see the other wd's, like a timeline or something.

thanks all for your answers. Prolly should clear up tho that I am asking cuz of my AH. He is supposed to be off of them but I have my doubts.

I have a theory that each time you go into wd's, whether short lived till you get some more pills (even just a few hours) or for several days/ weeks/ months trying to get off of them, that each time you bring on wd's in your body that it will bring on an increase in tolerance. This might be why some people can be on the pills for years & years and never progress to heroine and then others start on hydrocodone and moving on to harder & harder stuff really fast.

The reason I am asking is that I think that hubby is still taking pills but he insists that he isnt... I really think that he is trying to get off of them but every once in a while it seems like he caves and gets some from someone. He didnt go to his March appt so he should have been wd'ing then. I didnt see it then but I did about 2 wks later, then he was all better way too fast then wd's again and better way too fast again. I think that he is doing more harm this way cuz I think if he goes back to regular daily use after doing this several time that he will be taking more than before. Since he refuses to admit that he did not quit back in March I cant even get him to discuss anything about this.

BUT then I wonder if I am just too suspicious because of my fears. I just want to know from those who would know (and willing to tell me) what to be looking for. I wish I didnt feel this need to be so watchful but I do. I am going forward with plans if the abuse continues or gets worse but I he is so very good at hiding things that I think it could be very bad before he slipped up and let me see. BUT I dont want to go forward with my plans if it is just my suspicions making me see things that are not there.

Anyway, thanks for the answers and sorry bout the rambling.

For me, the first indication was sweating and cold chills. As soon as I would feel this waking up, the anxiety would hit. Then all the other symptoms, diarrhea, headache ... would follow. But its better than the mental part then came a few days later for me.

You feel like you have the flu.  Everyone is different so it is hard to say.  Usually after around day 5 you feel better.  The mental game kicks in after the physical part.  That is the hardest part.

Everyone is different. With me I get w/d's about 8 hours after my last dose and my first w/d symptoms are anxiety, fast heart beat, then my body starts to hurt, restless arms and legs, then comes the back pain,no sleeping, adhd head(that is what I call it when my mind doesn't shut up)still no sleeping, runs, sneezing, still no sleep, sick to my stomach, can't eat, depression.Everyone is different so there is non telling the order of the symptoms and which ones you will or will not have.Google it or read others posts here.It will help you.I hope that helped some.Good Luck!

well the first thing i noticed was that i was freezing and could not get warm for nothing.
felt like i was cold right thru to my bones. i was achy and than i felt sick to my stomache. it was hard to move around, felt real weak and totally achy, like every muscle hurt. than i got real anxious. the bathroom issue took a couple of days.
i finally phoned my doc and told him i felt like i was gonna die. hah
he said that i had become addicted and just couldn't quit all of a sudden. that i had to slowly wean off instead.
