I know it has not been quite a month yet, but I see so many new people here now and it's always good to hear clean time regardless how long. To all those starting out in your recovery right now, stick to it and you will see all the positive changes to come, it just takes a bit of time to heal. We are all in different stages of recovery and it's the new people that come here that help us too by reading their stories. Ok everyone, brag away about your clean time. I am 208 days clean from cocaine, at one time my record was 11 days clean in 5 years, it's been shattered, lol. It's feels great to be FREE!

I_want_out.. sounds like you are getting out !! congratulations on your first day.. very glad you got back on and are trying again.. put that very powerful brain in warrior mode and kick a$$ on your addiction.. nothing more powerful then what out attitude brings to the table.. wishing you well on your journey and remember to post a lot as you will get loads of support.. wishing you well.. lesa

Hey Gizzy I do not understand why they moved that post either as I also think it belongs on the addiction side.. I think it can be helpful to many addicts especially the new ones coming in as well as a good reminder to us old timers :) Sorry to hear of the cravings.. if anything like me I do not like having things decided for me as they did for you this weekend.. I can see where it could happen.. addicts do not like being told no from anybody including the fates :) glad you fought it and had the knowledge to jump on here.. a real eye opener when we need a reminder I agree.. glad it passed and did not dwell hugs to a great guy..

Melissa very proud of you !! Not far to go.. get rid of temptations that includes drug buddies.. they very seldom work with us..

I was able to quit ALL of the party drugs when my oldest son was born. Guess I am lucky. Opiates are from the devil himself. I have stuck it out and have been clean for 21 days. I feel better as each day passes.
