does that 5htp really work i heard bad reviews , how much to take ?
I understand completely why you're taking aspirin and a beta blocker BUT AFib is a very, very dangerous arrhythmia and you're very young.
You should be checking with a cardiologist, okay?
P.S. that sounds like a slow taper. I'd try get off the stuff within a month to avoid developing any dependencies to it, resulting in more wd symptoms. Usually a sort sub treatment results in mild or no wd symptoms.
Depends on what you are using the subs to withdrawal from, how bad your addiction problem is etc.
While a short subs taper program can help you avoid withdrawal symptoms, it will not take away your desire to get high on opiates again. THAT is why you should also be part of a counseling program and go to NA meetings to help you avoid a relapse.
Come to think of it, when I was withdrawing from opiates I used to get a "muscle twitch" of the diaphram around the heart sack that felt an awful lot like afib, but it wasn't.
It would often occur just as I was entering slumber-land, then suddenly wake me up. Increased anxiety is a normal wd side effect, the Amino acid supplement w/st John wart really helps during opiate withdrawal, along with making sure you are taking a good multi vitamin, vitamin C, B6, calcium and magnesium.
Anxiety can cause them. Try taking an amino acid supplement such as 5htp along with some st. Johns wart to get your anxiety under control.
I started at 8 mg and taping down 1/2mg per week , but I neve had any a fib till I touched the subutex , my doc tells me that sub does not cause it either and refuses to change to anything else. I'm really scared because when I get the afib it destroys my day or night with extreme anxiety and worry .
Also I suggest that that high metephrinetes cause adrenaline to secret an maybe cause afib but they tell me no .
Please help
I'm not sure I understand, you have been getting aterial fibrillation from the subs? or have had it a while due to other health problems?
Are you on a subutex step down program?
What beta blocker are you taking? Why the asprin?
There isn't much to form an opinion on here, other than a lot of guessing.
Normally subs wouldn't cause fibrillation, in fact quite the opposite. Subs can cause respiratory depression in a small percentage of people, and like any opiate, can cause respiratory depression up to failure if taken with Benzo's.
If you are stepping down, what dose did you start at?
