i tapered down from 3 norcos a day.  i have been using on and off since 2000.  not until the last 4 years have i become a daily user.  i started tapering the week of halloween. i started i would cut your halfs in half and do that for 4 days and then after that just take one of the halfs...so you are only dosing once a day, do that for a week then quit.  you can do it!  oh... i did this without a doctor...this was my weaning plan i made up

hey, great job!!
sounds like maybe you may have bad circulation? are you drinking lots of water?
i know aspirin will thin your blood and not dangerous unless your stomache is wasted.

i was really cold when i was quitting also. never really got sweats. i would sit in front of a fire and that was really the only thing that made me feel cozy warm.

it will go away. but make sure it is not bad circulation. and congrats again!!!

Did you try a warm bath and a cup of green tea (any de caff tea) and then a warm bath robe and slippers.  I know it sounds too simple but it helps.  Would you share your taper with me.  I went from 5-6 =7.5's pr day (give or take 1) hydro's a day for 2 years.  I slowly tapered down 1 per week until now I am down to 1 1/2 per day spacing them every 8 hours for quite some time.  How many did you taper down from (if that was you doc) and why I am so afraid to go all the way?  I start to go to 12-14 hours til my next 1/2 pill and start getting leg pain.  I work full time and I start to get moody at work with my employees and I am not like that. Why do you think it is so hard for me and why am I scared to pick a quit day?  I am a recovering alcoholic for 18 1/2 years and when I quit, I wasn't as scared as this.    How did you taper when you got to the end?  Thanks in advance for any advice.  Lynne
