Beginning of day 6

I've been feeling much better lately. I started smoking cigarettes again though, and I feel like a hypocrite for replacing one addiction with another. I know how bad they are for you, probably worse than vicodin. But they're obviously a lot easier to come by, and my husband said he'd rather have me smoking cigarettes than popping pills all day. What do you guys think? By no means am I trying to justify using vicodin over cigarettes. I'm just wondering if i'm sidetracking myself by replacing pills with cigarettes.

Congrats on 6 days!!  Dont beat yourself up over this.  This is the lesser of 2 evils.  You will put them down when you are ready.

Congrats on day 6. That is awesome!
You will quit when your ready. I have picked up and put down cigarettes since I was 12. I started up again after I got out of the hospital from detox. I'm going to quit soon because yes, it's poison and we can't fully love and nurture ourselves if we are putting poison in our bodies. I'm getting close. Putting down one addiction at a time.

Whatever works!  If it does not help, stop.  (I know easier said than done)!!
Actually you should start feeling even better in a day or so.  Quit smoking as soon as you can.  Congrats on day 6!
