Blood pressure and eyesight for wf's?

Bit of a different question here, I wander if any1 can help.
I was given glasses a few years ago but only really have to wear them to drive asu eyesight wasn't really that bad. now, I have been clean from subutex for 14 days now after a 15 year opiate addiction. When I stopped the subs I noticed my eyesight was much worse than normal. I have heard that high blood oressure can cause your eyesight to blur. I should probably see a doc to get my blood pressure read but I'm 80 miles away atm and won't be able to see him for at least a week.
Just wandered if anyone has had any experience of this while coming off opiates and whether it passed? I would really want to cause any damage to my eyes!

Got 6 hours last night which is nice. Nice 1 10 days, you should be feeling much better? Should be proud of yourself too! Keep it up and practice what you preach!

While you're at the pharmacy, check out the blood pressure monitors for sale.  They're not terribly expensive, and it wouldn't hurt to have one handy.

Hi~ Yes...a sustained high B/P can cause all sorts of problems. Temporary hypertension is common during  acute withdrawal; not so much after 2 weeks clean.
Regardless, you need your B/P checked. As Laurel suggested,go to a pharmacy or supermarket nearby. Also, you should make that doctor's appt. It's always wise to get a check up following detox.

i am not sure but maybe you could get your blood pressure checked  on a pharmacy ? I think i remember having sort of a blurry eyesight too after detoxing too and it went away with time.
