day 2 with suboxone 8mg /2mg strips have ????

I need some advice from someone that has taken this stuff.....day 1 nausea all day....couldn't hardly sleep last night...today nausea and headache....i'm wondering if it may be b/c i still have methadone in my system cause it's "hang time" is so long and I was on it for 7 yrs...cause that what i feel like, like i'm in withdrawals....i know nothing about suboxone...had never even seen it till yesterday am...i'm also thinking that i'm going to try cutting strips in half and take 1/2 am 1/2 pm.....hell, i don't kno???? i was lookin around somewhere and one guy was saying that one strip lasted him a week??? also....i'm praying my ins. covers it...it says it does and i need a PA ( which is in the works ) I paid 65.00 for 7 strips .....

hi what dosage are you on?
my bf is also on day 3 today of suboxone tabs.
day 1 he felt ok abit wonky and very tired, day 2 he was still having cravings for his doc heroin!! Abit of tummy ache leg cramps a few chills and very tired he went to bed at 8pm last night. They are upping his dosage today to 16mg from 8mg so hopefully that will make him feel abit better.

You need to discuss this with your prescribing physician. It could be that the dose needs to be adjusted and it could be that you are having a reaction to it. Who knows but I don't think it is a good idea for YOU to adjust your dose. Let the doctor make that decision based on your symptoms. Good luck and let us know how you are doing.
