Flushed +600 Tramadol down the toilet. Good Riddance!

I sent them all to their worthy grave-site!
No better resting place for stupid little pills.

Been clean now for almost 57 hours and couldn't feel more relieved! That Tramadol Madness was controlling me and I had thought that I was the one in control....and that is called DENIAL my friends! I am so, so happy now!

The WD's have been somewhat manageable thanks to the support/input from those here on this board and NA.
I really am feeling much better that I thought I would be, but  still haven't finished day 3 of being totally clean of Tramadol. But I do know that it can only get better from here.

The withdrawal probably hasn't been too bad perhaps because of the slow taper I had done prior to going CT. Went from 12 tabs a day finally down to 1/4 tab and then said adios Tramidious! No RLS, diarhea, chills, sweats, etc...just basic but sometimes intense anxiety. I realize that I am still not out of the woods yet as it hasn't been even 3 full days yet but I am confident in my ability to "just say no". It isn't worth becoming a slave to any drug, especially one that will eventually rob you of your sanity if abused.

Tramadol is just a terrible drug to become addicted to in my opinion. Easy to fall in love with and get addicted to as that has been my experience and those of others whom post on this board. I planned my rehab then worked my plan. Although tapering is not for everyone and mine certainly dragged on for longer that perhaps necessary ( + 6 months)...but it's now a DONE DEAL and I couldn't be any happier about it!

Best of luck to all and Thanks again!
Ps  NA and this Forum does work but only if you want it bad enough, really really bad! No good things come easy!

Best wishes,
-Vic
