heroin/opiate withdrawl

I have been taking tramadol for at least 4 years and abused itcright away. When I had run out...I had a 'friend' who would help me get heroin.she was arrested August 2nd and is out but texted me to leave her alone...

So..I have gone to an ex I know who's a heroin addict, but the stuff he gives me is NOT like I'm used to: no nodding or sleepy euphoric feeling sometimes anxious even...but I don't feel dope sick...weird.


Bottom line: I'm out of BOTH tramadol and this 'mystery' smack...and I don't know what to expect...anyone??

Hope you are keeping up the good fight although xanax scare the hell out of me honestly. I have watched my uncle seize out from WD from that. I would definitely taper down on them taking only when needed for sleep mostly. They were not my doc but I'm an addict and have done so many different drugs starting at age 16 I'm now 39 including heroin. Its gonna be rough for about a week then you will definitely start feeling better each day. I suggest vitamins and fruit such as pineapples, watermelon, etc. They help also with hydration and are easy to keep down if your nausea and vomiting. Hope thus is your last time as I hope it is mine, I'm in sub WD and on day 8 and feel so much better and look so much better as well , so the wife says lol. Keep it up praying for you, Sean

Hi and welcome to our community  you came to the right place for help....tram is a hard kick but it is doable I do not have experecy with it but a lot of our members do  someone will come by that has been in your shoes  it is a bit slow now  but check your post often  we are all about support  this can be your last detox...''you never have to use again''  keep posting for support..........Gnarly

Welcome back K!  I agree with MP...maybe you need to go into rehab...inpatient or outpatient.  Sweetpea, you have been to this rodeo many times.  I pray that this is the last time for you.  I have always believed that you deserve a beautiful life....I love that you said no caving this time...regardless of how that happens.  You can do this.  Hopefully your ssi's will help with the AD aspect of trams.

from what i have read the tram kick is pretty rough K.  did i ever ask you if you tried outpatient?  that's what I did ... a ten day program with aftercare.  it changed everything for me.  still here for you!!!

I do have xanax..which I am prescribed but that's the only plus. Trying to keep busying was hard using...as I am on ssi for bipolar so I already have other issues as u can see...I have NEVER successfully made it through a withdrawal..day 2 I somehow cave but this time I can't.

Honestly your gonna go into WD but the good news is your not gonna die, every time you did dope you was taking that chance. If you want to be clean this place really helps out. There are a lot of people who will help out any way they can. Your gonna need some immodium and start a vitamin regiment b12,pottasium for rls,stay clean please you beat this I did so anybody can.try to stay busy as possible and try to stay positive through this BC your getting your life back. Drink plenty power/gator aid or water fruits have helped me a lot also through WD. Check out the Thomas recipe also it may help a lot swear by it on here. It wasn't my way but every one is dif. Good luck sending prayers your way. Keep is updated maybe it'll help for it has helped me tremendously.
