It hasn't been that bad?

Hello!!  My husband and I made a commitment to stop taking 10/325 hydro. I have been taking up to 5 a day for about 3 years. He stopped cold turkey while down with the flu, I have tapered down to only 3, 5 mg in a 14 hour span.  I took my last 1/2 pill right at 24 hours ago. I have had very little RLS and of course have been tired. I used the Thomas recipe and have tried to keep moving today.  Since I tapered down and used the Thomas recipe is that why I'm making it so good or is the worse yet to come? I can't stand the thought of the unknown. Anyone have any insight or have experienced a detox like mine that can tell me what to expect.

Everybody experiences withdrawals on a different level. Some worse than others. If you are feeling ok right now that is a good thing. Hopefully it will continue. Ive detoxed many times and usually day 1 isnt so bad. Day 2 is where I start feeling it with day 3 being the worst. Thats just me though. But once you get passed day 5 and your still feeling good...Id say your home free.
Good luck

Hi there, It sounds like you are doing great. Congratulations on you and your husband wanting to get your lives back. Nothing like that feeling. You're yourself again, and not worrying about taking pills all the time. You said you are taking the Thomas Recipe, which is great. If you do experience the rls, I would go and get some Epsom salts at your local drugstore. They come in nice aromatic flavors, I like the Lavender. If you are not a diabetic. If you are a diabetic, you cannot take the Epsom salt baths ok? Anyway, go get a big bag of the salts, put 1 or 2 cups in a hot bath, and just soak. The magnesium in the salts pulls out the impurities in your body, such as the drugs. They were and still are a Godsend to me as I live with chronic pain. Hope that helps a little. Good luck, you are doing great, and before long you will see each day gets better and better until one day, you will come out of that drug fog and start seeing clearer and you will start feeling like your old self again. Not a better feeling in the world...so keep at it, hang tough and it will all be behind you before you know it!!

Hello Me, If you weaned down to 3  5 mg's and have been at that for a week or so then you greatly reduced your w/d symptoms. Don't anticipate whats to come as it sounds like your going to be one of the few that get off easy. Keep  moving and feed your body well with good nutrition and lots of supplements. Sorry your hubby was hit with the flu, but it sounds like a blessing. Now's the time to build a strong support system so you can continue to live a free and clean life.
