well I am on day 16 and I feel ok, "Normal" I guess"maybe the best word is "stable" Not alot of ups and downs. My question is this: on day 5 of my withdrawls I had this amazing clarity of mind and felt amazing. the whole day. I just felt wonderful, better than when I was on Vic's then mu body slipped back into withdrawls mode for some reason, so, will that ever come back? that feeling I had that day?

Thanks

Hi,

I am on day 15 of no opiates. Your story i know!!!  My "day" was day 4.  Felt GREAT!!  I was amazed.  after that, not so much..I have been very depressed, achey joints, poor sleep and overall lack of motivation.  BUT, I push on.  I force myself into the shower and do all the things i need to do to get me and my 3 year old out the door to daycare and work.  I feel so frustrated.  Lets just hang in there together and hope that soon we will see plenty of those euphoric days:)

I know the day you are talking about :) Someone once described it like waking up from a coma... Yes it does come back.. but you have to work your recovery. I have found forcing myself out into the world staying busy picked up a hobby has done wonders.. If you keep your mind and body active it speeds up the healing.. Even a brisk walk helps.. Congratulations on day 16..  lesa
