Could taking the Vitamins make you ill?

I'm on day 5 soon to be 6 of d/t from oxy 40.  My w/ds are somewhat mild as this was only a 6 week relapse with not very high doses and down time in between.  It seems that the mornings are the worst for me particularly after I take my multivitamin, fishoil, B complex.  Seeing that I just started taking the vitamins on day one of d/t could this be contrinuting to feeling ill in the am?

Another product they have at GNC is called Kyo-Green, it is great for energy as well as detoxifying the body. I love the effects but it isn't the best tasting stuff....it has wheat and barley grass, brown rice, and kelp.  It's about thirty bucks for the powder but it will last you at least a month!!   It is awesome!!!!

I tried that energy thingy on Christmas Day (only day 5 off pills again for me) and it worked wonders that day, energy all day long.  I think they are better for you than the drinks (my opinion only) cuz theres no sugar...good luck to yall :)

I purchased a box of those 5 hours energy drinks from GNC, the things they sell at the counter of all the convience stores.  I have been drinking one of those after lunch and that seems to help.  It is filled with aminos and vits. They are like $5 at the Conv. store but only $2:50 at GNC.

I have the same problem with feeling nauseous after taking all the multi-v's and aminos but it is worth it.  Within about 30-45 mins i feel like 100% better!!  Remember the pills have drastically altered how your body chemistry is working.  Providing the right nutrients will speed up your bodys return to its intended state before the poison was introduced!!!  So I know the gagging and nausea suck but I would urge you to stick with it!!

I take a multivitamin at night before I go to bed. I know I need them because my body needs to get healthy but they make me sick if I take them in the morning whether I eat or not. I am over my withdrawals but I can imagine that could also make it worse. I know alot of people who have to take their multivitamin at night cuz it makes them sick. I would try that before I stopped altogether, Im sure your body needs them right now.

I seem to get better as the day goes on.  I am eating lots of protein, chix, fish peanut butter.  I think I'm having a down day as many report aswell.  I felt better yesterday than I do today.

i, too, feel the same way.....very nauseous.....i gag when having to take the vitamins or amino acid pills....i wonder if i should just stop, or if that would make wd/s worse?

i'm currently trying the Carnation Instant Breakfast....i can drink it, it has some vitamins, protein, and nutrients, and that seems to work better than ingesting the pills first thing when i get up....yuck

i hope you start feeling better SOON.....you're farther along than i am though.....i'm only just starting day 3, so that's why I thought i was feeling so crummy and the vitamins, etc. weren't going down so well.....funny though.....i could take 2 lortabs at a time like it was nothing.....never fazed me.....but trying to gag down HEALTHY stuff....ha!  different story.....go figure!

do you just feel ill in the a.m. or does it linger all day?

love,
k.
