Day 120 !!

Hi all ! I know its been a while since I posted but I really could not think of any thing new to tell you ! (LOL) Life is pretty nice out of the box . Still suffer from some anxiety issues . I know that's a pre existing  problem. I think the opiates masked it for so long that  now I have to learn coping skills all over . Days I am still a little jumpy and night I am pretty calm . Go figure . I found some pills the other day and I have to tell you all I felt when I found them was fear ! Flushed em of course .  Sure would love to hear from all of you and how you're doing in your recovery . Nice to hear from all who are about were I am also . I will post more often if you guys are interested . Peace Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,
I am 2 days clean from opiates, and although I do not feel 100% yet, I am feeling better. I suffer from depression and anxiety with an abusive husband, and I think the opiates were a coping mechanism for me, after using them for pain issues. They drowned out my lonely and battered life, and help me to keep going. I can see it clearly now. I have a therapist and a psychiatrist who helps me with antidepressents and talk therapy. This is a help. I had no one else to talk to and give me support.

Sounds like you are doing well...................god for you, you crushed the demon. All the best in the future with hugs and prayers for Jimmy
