What a day....ugh

4 days and 6 hours in. I thought the worst would be over. I also had to have an emergency tooth extraction yesterday, long story, it broke. I feel awful today's, foggy, tired, chills, nausea, weak, bathroom issues, just general yuckiness. I was doing really well and I thought the worst would be over....haven't taken a pill, told dentist no narcotics. So just Tylenol, Ibuprofen. I guess I am just venting. Everyone is so kind and generous on here, was just surprised I feel this way after this amount of time and feeling relatively ok the first three and a half days, this is my first and last detox!..thanks for listening, as always YOU ALL make the difference to use "newbies". Thank you all you MH angels.

Wow, that is an awesome success story.  I can't imagine how many people would cave after a tooth extraction and say YES PLEASE!  You are one strong lady!  Pat yourself on the back and keep up the hard work!!!!

I can't begin to tell you how proud you should feel about yourself right now...

Hi Free..It does take time and with time comes Patience. You should pat your self on the back for turning down those meds..It just take that one to start the Pleasure part of the brain all up again. I call it the tape in the brain and it likes that "Feel Good Feeling"..To bad we just can not rip that sucker out of there and replace it with a new tape..Oh! You will get better..Just keep pushing and do not that Life bring you so down that you "THINK" You need a pill..Great Job!!!

You are doing great! It may be taking you a little longer to get all of the toxins out and be totally detoxed since you were on a pretty hefty dose. Your symptoms should start to ease up very soon. You are one tough cookie to be going through withdrawals and a tooth extraction! Hang in there my friend and keep up the good fight!
