Day 14 and still hanging sort of

Hello everyone.  Today is number 14 and feeling so much better.  Sleep has finally returned and I'm eating regular again.  I have took two 7.5s over the last 2 weeks but I'm not craving them or looking for them.  I know it wouldnt take much for me to relapse so I'm kinda weary about taking anything.   I was in a bad car accident in 95 and when the weather changes it feels like a toothache in my body.  My mental state is so much better now.  I actually feel like talking to people and kinda feel like myself again.  I noticed during the first week of detox I smoked like a freaking chimney,  guess it helped take my mind off it.  I also found something to help with the sleep problems. Unisom, not the one with diphen....whatever, but the other kind with Doxylamine.  I dont know if I have this beat yet but I have turned them down and havent been looking for any.  My suggestion to anyone trying to quit is to confide in family and friends and take a few days off work, at least 4 days.  My wife was the biggest help and I love her for everything she done for me.  I want to thank everyone on here for the encouraging words and advice.. Looking at some of these post I believe my WDs were minor only about 5 days.  I still crave them but its nothing I cant fight.  Like I said I did take two but that was after ibuprofen and aleve didnt help.  It was strange only taking one at a time for a change.  There was 2 teenagers died this week after an oxycodone OD.  15 yrs old each.  Such a waste.  I wish everyone on here the best of luck and thanks for everything.  Yall was alot of help during the first week  especially.

You are doing great. Isn't it such a relief not to have to keep the pills pumping. I'm learning how to live again without them. It is an interesting journey at times. I know there is a lower power and a higher power. Sometimes the lower power with negative thoughts or "friends" telling you they have if you want.
I'm glad I have the Higher Power.
God Bless
